This restaurant is not one to miss on a trip to Mallorca! 🌅🧡🍹

Nestled into the Deia coastline, sapedrissa is a STUNNING finca hotel and those dinner views from espirestaurant make for the dreamiest sunset viewing spot. Not only were the vibes immaculate, the food was *chefs kiss*. Our scallops starter was about the nicest thing we tastiest on this trip and I was loving the rich, creamy, chocolate dessert.

Arrive early to nab a front row seat!

the DREAMIEST afternoon tea at fstowerbridge from lily_vanilli_cake ❤️🎂🍰

The whole menu felt like it was designed just for me, full of my favourites from crispy confit potatoes to salted caramel tiramisu tarts. One of the most varied and delicious spreads I’ve seen in a while, and to top it all off, *that* cake was a real treat. This was a gorgeous way to spend a chilled Saturday afternoon, and they also offer a tasting cocktail menu to accompany your sweet and savoury nibbles which really was the icing on the cake (excuse the pun!). 2025-08-28 11:32:48 the DREAMIEST.. 56 +63% 7 +18%
Your new favourite wine bar…

We headed to the brand new spot from Boxcar, a former bakery in Marylebone, to check out their fireandwinebyboxcar concept. They are serving seasonal dishes cooked over fire alongside a low-intervention, curated wine list. This cosy spot was warm and welcoming and the food, a combination of small and large sharing plates, was simple yet tasty. The bite sized snacks were a great starting point, my favourite being the chicken liver parfait brioche, and I loved the dessert selection (as always) particularly the apple tart and tiramisu croissant (although it’s more cream than coffee). Skip the small plates and go straight for the sharing beef rib. A good spot if you are in the area and looking for a simple dinner with some perfect wine pairings. 2025-08-13 01:33:01 Your new favourite wi.. 50 +46% 7 +18%
A weekend well spent ❤️

retreatelcotpark is a gorgeous country manor hotel in the heart of the North Wessex Downs. We spent the weekend enjoying trips to the spa, dining on delicious food and relaxing in our cosy room overlooking the countryside. They offer wellies for muddy walks, plenty of bikes for hire and a pantry stocked with yummy snacks for your evenings. There’s even an on site hairdresser! The perfect staycation 🙌🏻

We kick started a very special celebratory weekend with an epic meal at theblind_bull. The quality of the dishes was exquisite and the surrounding countryside was incredibly beautiful. Think pub-dining, but elevated!

On the table:
🍑 roasted peaches with whipped feta
🍅 courgette velouté with tomato bruschetta 🍝 pea and ricotta agnolotti
🥦 BBQ broccoli ’kebab’
🍞 wild garlic flatbread

We also spotted some delicious côte de boeuf, duck and lamb dishes heading out of the kitchen!

The hot and spicy pizza you didn’t know you needed 🌶️🍕

Sweet, spicy and crisp to perfection. We stumbled across this epic pizzeria on a weekend walk (who’d have thought it) and was later thrilled to learn I live in their deliveroo radius (sw girlies listen up). This GIANT ‘nduja and burrata pizza from iddipizza could easily be up there with London’s best crispy pizzas so get down to Merton Abbey Mills to try this and plenty of other lesser known foodie hot spots, craft stores and bars! 2025-07-08 11:09:41 The hot a.. 37 +8% 6 +1%

A spontaneous trip to Italy and 24 hours spent in Milan!

I instantly fell in love with this beautiful city and we had the best day exploring the vibrant streets, enjoying the gorgeous architecture and of course indulging in plenty of Italian food and drink! Highlights include climbing the terraces of the Duomo (a must! Book in advance) and sipping spritzes at Bar Camparino in the Galleria Vittoria Emanuele. Still not quite sure how we managed to fit all this in (and I’m not just talking about the copious amount of food and cocktails).

The bank holiday inspo you need…

julietsqualityfood has long been a Tooting brunch staple with its minimalistic vibe and top quality menu. There’s so much creativity in every dish, taking basic brunch items to the next level, and I just couldn’t help but over order (as always). Be prepared for a bit of a queue, but trust me it’s worth it!

Hunted down the BEST cocktail bars in the city and they sure did deliver. But don’t just take my word for it, these are the highest rated bars in KL, and amongst the best in Asia. We even got a cheeky preview of lavantha.kl which has only just opened its doors after the success of its sister bar penrose.kl. And if our visit was anything to go by it’s going to be a real hit!

Having secured top 10 status on the official* global ranking of burgers, and by virtue of being Australia’s only representative, I’ve made the logical conclusion that thegidley burger is in fact, the best burger in Australia. I haven’t tried them all (that would be impressive) but given the quality of the ingredients, the simplicity of the presentation and the style of the venue it’s easy to see why it’s such a strong contender. We couldn’t secure a reservation for the steak restaurant itself, but we stopped by to try one of their famous old fashioned cocktails (a personal fave of mine) and discovered they serve the burger at the bar which was a win win!

I can’t help but crave a cocktail when on holiday, and while in Sydney we certainly tried a fair few spots. These come highly recommended from locals and travellers alike, including from the many bartenders we chatted to along the way!

maybe_sammy_sydney is a hotel lobby bar without the hotel. The menu is themed as a cross between a monopoly board and the Grand Budapest hotel with drinks taking you from the spa, to the lobby to the bedrooms with a quirky boardgame style menu. Don’t miss their happy hour miniatures too, including my favourite mini Irish coffee.

cantina.ok is a tiny gem, hidden away down a side street surrounded by parking garages and service entrances. They specialise in all things tequila and mezcal so you can be sure of a good margarita! There’s standing room only, and it’s a small space but that only adds to the vibe and atmosphere, driven in part by their incredibly helpful and fun staff.

thegidley is better known as a restaurant and steak house, serving the best burger in Sydney, but it also offers a fabulous speakeasy style bar with dim lighting and glorious cocktails. The old fashioned was excellent and they also served some very tasty seasonal cocktails too. Whilst you’re there you may as well try the famous burger, it would be rude not to…

ps40bar came highly recommended for having some of the best cocktail creations around. We also happened to visit on a takeover Tuesday, where they welcome local chefs to deliver a supper night in their factory style venue - not to be missed. The Africola is their signature drink, served at two temperatures and textures and is a twist on an expresso martini. I was a big fan!

jamrecordbar is home to 15,000 vinyl records, an all night DJ and a Japanese inspired cocktail menu that is a real hit. The CBD location puts you in the heart of the city and attracts a stream of revellers all evening. We enjoyed a pre-dinner drink here while people watching from the terrace outside.

Save for your next trip to Sydney 🍹🍸

Sometimes self care looks like a weekend getaway, just an hour from London.

Located in Kent, just outside Ashford, you’ll find Boys Hall, a 17th century restored Manor House with 9 stunning bedrooms. Get cosy by the fireplace, enjoy excellent food and drink in their award winning restaurant and relax in your expertly decorated bedroom (hello roll top bath 👀🛁). This was the perfect place to switch off for a few days!

A Sunday roast worth travelling for!

Serving farm fresh, high quality produce from a conservatory conversion in their back garden, updownfarmhouse_ is making waves in the already impressive Kent food scene. The simplicity is key here, with the chefs letting their seasonal flavours do the talking, with everything being cooked in the open plan, wood-fired kitchen you can see from your seat. My roast beef was rich and succulent, with a melt-in-the-mouth tenderness (served to the rare end of medium rare, just as I like it) and my god I needed their recipe for those roast potatoes. Crisped to perfection!

At £50 for three course, it might seem steep at first, but trust me for this quality it’s a bargain!

A bit late to the party but after queuing for several hours at the Kings Cross launch, but still not getting a table, I was unconsciously boycotting this place until my friend suggested booking their Clapham branch for a catch up last week. And boy have I been missing out! The hype has been well deserved, as we had a gorgeous meal full of sharer style, Indian dishes cooked to perfection. And to top it off, we paid less than £30pp - top quality food at a bargain price!

On the table:
🧅 Onion Bhaji with mint chutney - a classic, you can’t go wrong. I loved that this didn’t taste too greasy, and the chutney was delicious
🧀 Chilli cheese dosa - a must order, just look at that cheesy goodness
🥘 Paneer butter masala - that sauce 😍😍 creamy, buttery goodness
🥘 Thanjavur chicken curry - a rich, tomatoey sauce with melt in the mouth slow cooked chicken
🍚 Garlic & Corriander naan and coconut pilau rice - just what you need to mop up all the sauces

Weekend brunch spot with a Thai bbq twist! Head to the first floor of Borough pub, theglobese1 to enjoy this fusion of flavours including a roti egg and bacon wrap and quail egg tarts (which got bonus points for cuteness). Leave some space for their delicious doughnut bao desserts, and if that wasn’t enough to get you excited, just know that they make their espresso martinis with coconut syrup which will change your life.

Is agora.ldn worth a 2 hour queue??

The hype around this spot is unreal, and I only have instagram to blame for the hefty queues to get a table. Even on a Tuesday we waited several hours (in the rain) to get in which is WILD but having made it to the front I can honestly say I get it. Sure, it’s a big wait but you can grab drinks from the pub across the road, chatter with your mates and prepare for one of the best small plates dinners I’ve enjoyed in a long time.

The rips and dips make for an excellent start, then enjoy plenty of skewers before the star of the show, the flatbreads - fluffy pitta style breads topped with flavours such as hot honey and pork or spinach and cheese - every bite was delicious! For dessert, the cafe freddo tiramisu is a must order.

The best part? The price is super reasonable, especially when you consider the demand. Skewers start from £3.50 and flatbreads price up to £11.50. Bigger groups can book at dinner, and smaller groups at lunch, or for a similar but pricier experience book their upstairs sister restaurant oma.london.
