- We kick started a very special celebratory weekend with an epic meal at theblind_bull. The quality of the dishes was exquisite and the surrounding countryside was incredibly beautiful. Think pub-dining, but elevated! On the table: 🍑 roasted peaches with whipped feta 🍅 courgette velouté with tomato bruschetta 🍝 pea and ricotta agnolotti 🥦 BBQ broccoli ’kebab’ 🍞 wild garlic flatbread We also spotted some delicious côte de boeuf, duck and lamb dishes heading out of the kitchen! A fab choice for a special occasion in Derbyshire ❤️
- Is agora.ldn worth a 2 hour queue?? The hype around this spot is unreal, and I only have instagram to blame for the hefty queues to get a table. Even on a Tuesday we waited several hours (in the rain) to get in which is WILD but having made it to the front I can honestly say I get it. Sure, it’s a big wait but you can grab drinks from the pub across the road, chatter with your mates and prepare for one of the best small plates dinners I’ve enjoyed in a long time. The rips and dips make for an excellent start, then enjoy plenty of skewers before the star of the show, the flatbreads - fluffy pitta style breads topped with flavours such as hot honey and pork or spinach and cheese - every bite was delicious! For dessert, the cafe freddo tiramisu is a must order. The best part? The price is super reasonable, especially when you consider the demand. Skewers start from £3.50 and flatbreads price up to £11.50. Bigger groups can book at dinner, and smaller groups at lunch, or for a similar but pricier experience book their upstairs sister restaurant oma.london. 🍴 Small, sharer style Mediterranean plates 💰£30-£50pp depending on appetite
- the DREAMIEST afternoon tea at fstowerbridge from lily_vanilli_cake ❤️🎂🍰 The whole menu felt like it was designed just for me, full of my favourites from crispy confit potatoes to salted caramel tiramisu tarts. One of the most varied and delicious spreads I’ve seen in a while, and to top it all off, *that* cake was a real treat. This was a gorgeous way to spend a chilled Saturday afternoon, and they also offer a tasting cocktail menu to accompany your sweet and savoury nibbles which really was the icing on the cake (excuse the pun!).
