- Comment SLAY to get my free money guide. I second this. I had a coworker who commuted almost 4 hrs a day to come into the office even when he didn’t have to. He had a home office in the basement and a wife and 4 kids. I could tell he enjoyed getting away from them and it made me sad for his family. But that wasn’t any of my business and that was his life to deal with. However whenever we voted on certain work from home policies, he always voted against it. It was an uphill battle that he eventually lost because the women finally outnumbered the men on the team. Imagine holding your coworkers hostage because you hate your home life. Another of many reasons why I was so glad to retire from corporate America. If you’re feeling stuck at work, comment SLAY to get my money guide. Video & permission granted by shackletonjones on TT
- Comment SLAY to get my free 30-page money guide. I had this exact meltdown 10 years ago. I thought I needed a career change. Did that- still felt the same way. Started a business, things improved but still feel the same way. The goal has always been to STOP trading time for money. And I’m gonna do it thanks to investing. On track to retire by 45. Already retired my mom. This is the ultimate luxury. If you agree, comment SLAY to get my money guide. Video & permission- mommymeg on TT
- The US really has so many people believing that it’s the best country in the world. I think the US is a great place to make money for a lucky few and that’s it. If you’re not in the 1% you will sacrifice your physical and mental health for it though. It’s a country devoid of safety nets because it prioritizes profit over people. It’s forgotten that the purpose of taxes & government is to serve its citizens. Everything is being privatized and repackaged so that it can be sold back to you. It’s why I realized that I needed to build an exit strategy from the workforce. Otherwise I’d be working until my 70s barely surviving.
