![This Autobianchi Y10 has come a long way since I last saw it—five years ago.
For those unfamiliar, the Y10 was built by Autobianchi in Italy using the underpinnings of the original Fiat Panda, including its feisty 4x4 version.
This particular car started life as a 4WD, but was later converted to RWD by gabri_di_anonima. And from that little transformation, the Spaghetti Hachiroku was born.
Now, you might be wondering—what is anonimatapulli?
Well, that’s a story for another day.

![There’s a reason why you’ve only ever seen this side of the Clio. I’ve got a bit ambitious and thought I could finish it in a day. I guess every day is a school day right?
Anyways, although it’s missing most of the other side, details on the fingers and good dose of detailing, I couldn’t be happier with the result. Enamel paint is an incredible material to work with and that super glossy finish just makes me want to bite into it.
How do the youngsters say? Stay tuned for the finished thing.

![Our final livery option doesn’t really have a rational reason to be here. It simply tributes what me and mr autodromo think it’s one of the greatest example of livery design of all time. The brush strokes livery from the 1986 Benetton B186. Here the big challenge was obviously the adaptation. The major difference of the two cars’ silhouettes turned what we thought was a plug and play job into an endless streak of revisions. As you can see, we took some liberty in tweaking the colours, but don’t you worry, we kept it in the family. The colours we choose come straight from another Benetton of the 80, the B188. What a livery. I wish I designed that.

![The second entry of the GTV6 autodromo livery poll is inspired by the good old Group A European Touring Car aesthetics. Everything is kinda aggressive but playful in its colours. Complete with that over the top, almost fluorescent shade of red, whose only function was to compensate the lack of quality of the TV cameras of the time. Hidden deep inside the skeleton layout of this design, lives an incredibly famous livery of the times, that hopefully I was capable enough to hide properly. Can you guess what it is?

![All three liveries are clearly children of the 80’s. The first one under the spotlight is the Memphis Milano, inspired on the eponymous postmodern design movement spearheaded by such designers as Ettore Sottsass and Alessandro Mendini. Pastel primary block colours, faux marble patterns and grid textures it really can’t get any more 80s. This being the world of liveries we couldn’t miss out on a period correct fictional sponsor, Abet Laminati that used to produce a whole range of Memphis designed laminates. And it has a cool logo too.
