Our first ever pop up and first ever experience bringing Lannan out of Edinburgh!
We had a wonderful weekend making my signature Sour Cherry Jaffa Cakes, Blackcurrant Custard Slice, Peach, Fig Leaf & Einkorn Splits and Raspberry & Tonka Flan.
A huge thank you to my superstar team onsite theo.weir saltedhazel dude_where_is_my_kitchen and of course our wonder woman creeates and the whole team back home who put in the hours prepping for the event last week. I’m blessed to have such an exceptional team around me.
The queue seemed to follow us from Edinburgh and we sold out of flan 12 minutes after opening! Not to mention making a record number of my favourite Sour Cherry Jaffa Cakes.
Thank you to everyone who visited us at the festival, we’re back in Edinburgh this week and powering on with Lannan Pantry ahead of opening.. the date will be announced very soon!

Three glorious weeks of travelling around Central Europe. From the La Liste awards in Paris to Brocantes in Avignon. We went up Mont Blanc, swam in lake annecy, walked the devils gorge, took the Mont Blanc tunnel, visited suppliers of wine, ceramics and textiles - sourcing lots of precious pieces for our new project, eating and cooking beautiful food on the way 💌]()

I’ve been toying with the idea of making this page a little more personal, a place to share bits of home and things I enjoy outside the bakery.
I started documenting our house over on ahouseinthecolonies - but I think it might be time to migrate over here too.
Those of you who’ve been here for a while might even remember the caravan renovation! This page was started as a personal page, after all.
So here’s to our beautiful kitchen which we’ve just finished renovating, and to my lunch - which was the subject of practice in using my new camera. I’m still learning - please be kind!]()

Here’s to the most enjoyable interview I’ve ever had, and a piece I’m truly proud of. We talked about my life and career pre Lannan, where I was while I set up the business, everything that happened during our first year, current home renovations, and of course - the renovations and expansion the bakery is going through as we speak. There’s even an exciting announcement about our plans for the future.
It was also an opportunity to shout about all the wonderful artists I’ve worked with along the way to make my designs come to life. Including my wonderful mother, who got a special mention!

![What a weekend!
A massive thank you to everyone who came by, queued, sent messages of support and shared beautiful pictures of Lannan. I didn’t anticipate quite how many people were willing to stand in line and wait to try our pastries and see what we’ve been doing.
Everyone was so patient, the whole weekend went very smoothly and there were no hiccups whatsoever.
We sold out by 11am both days, despite making more on Sunday! Sorry if you missed out, I desperately didn’t want to have to turn people away (especially after waiting 2 hours!)
We’re back open this week, Thursday - Sunday from 8am.
