![Some (belated) Birthday reflections ✨
This past year was without doubt the hardest year of my life.
Severe Covid with long-lasting effects, shocking cancer diagnosis, surgeries, heartbreak and several heavy disappointments - it felt like life threw everything at me. ⚡️
But here’s what I learned:
✨Nobody is coming to save you - it’s on you & you’re so much stronger than you might think!
✨Health is fragile, so take care of yourself!
✨Protect your energy & choose the right people around you.
✨Where focus goes, energy flows.
✨Even when most days feel like losing - the few wins are worth it.
I had every reason to give up - but I didn’t. I fought. I rose again and I grew stronger.
Because pain, as brutal as it is, makes you grow in ways nothing else can. Today I know: I’m ready for any challenge. Nothing can stop me. 💪🏼
And despite all the struggles, I also reached massive milestones with FLITEDECK flite.bike 🚀 and without all my projects, without my vision, I would never have made it through. Vision is everything. 💫 It’s what pulls you out of the darkest days and reminds you why it’s worth it.
At the end of the day, I gained more than I lost. And that’s only possible if you refuse to give up.
So now, stepping into my next year of life, I feel nothing but gratitude and excitement. 🙏🏼🤩

I get this question a lot on Social Media.. so here’s a bit of behind-the-scenes insight: 👇🏼
When you’re building a product like FLITEDECK (flite.bike), it’s not just about technology, design and on-bike performance. It’s also about what happens off the road - and behind the screen.
Last week, we had our first workshop with SC&E Advisory GmbH to ensure we meet all legal and compliance requirements - from the GDPR to the upcoming Cyber Resilience Act. These are crucial milestones on the way to market readiness - even if they don’t make for flashy visuals.
Because let’s be honest: The most important building blocks in product development are often the ones you can’t see.
They happen on developer boards, in backend systems, in regulatory checklists - not only on the handlebars.
But they matter just as much.
So, if you don’t always see me riding with FLITEDECK: it’s not because we’re slowing down. It’s because we’re moving deeper and smarter. And preparing the foundation for a system that actually delivers what it promises.
Of course, we’ll keep sharing visual updates whenever we can. But the closer we get to our final product, the more we also have to protect what we’re building.
And that too - is part of the journey. 🚀
