If you really know me, you know my first love was always cinema. I grew up finding comfort in stories — in love, chaos, betrayal, friendship — because real life didn’t always feel as kind. And after years of soul searching, of feeling a little lost in places I didn’t belong — I heard my calling. It came late, maybe by society’s standards, but it came with thunder. I didn’t have a film school degree. I didn’t know how to technically hold a camera. But in 2020, I picked one up anyway. That was the beginning of everything. It would be unfair to say I only wanted to capture “happy moments.” What I truly wanted — was to hold onto the kind of happiness that saves you. The kind that heals you — the tears that fall from joy, the smiles that break through pain, the laughter that echoes through lifetimes. That’s what I wanted to chase. Because that’s what made my world feel whole. It’s 2025 now, and I’m doing what I was born to do — telling love stories, especially Asian weddings that are loud, colorful, emotional, and rooted in culture. I’m one of the few Indian photographers in San Diego, and I bring with me not just my camera — but my languages, my culture, and my whole heart. This session was incredibly special. I was genuinely amazed by her strength and energy. I had the honor of capturing their wedding, and now their maternity session—and I guess this is how a photographer becomes part of a family’s journey.
