Smeagie went to pawpatchclinic today to get repeat X-rays and lab work, and his X-ray is fluffier than the last time he was there in May (womp womp) but not quite as bad as his March one was. But he does seem to be back in heart failure again, so he got a dose of subcutaneous Lasix and we went home to wait for ugavetmed to call us with a plan. Smeagie brought some muscle to the table for Pill and Treat Negotiations and they're driving a hard bargain. They noticed I've been halving the bonkers_pets Purr Pops and claim they each need their own for Smeagol to be able to properly wash his pills down with.
