I have officially MOVED! Everything happens for a reason. Right before my emergency surgery I decided to move. The house I was in, the guy got greedy…. I don’t respond well to greed and as much I as I loved my house, I made the decision to go. Then all the chaos happened and I was still moving lol. It’s been absolute madness but I have the best support. My mum is a legend 🥹 and my step dad always moves the things for me 🥰🥰🥰🥰🎁 my person (what he calls me) came to help which made me like him a bit more lol and my brother helped lift the heavy things up the stairs with him. Everything was so smooth 🥹 My health scare came at the worst time but I am so grateful for the people in my life. CoCo’s has a new suite!!!!!! So from now on all apts will be at the new location! August 1st I FINALLY got some answers from the problems I was having. About 4 months ago I started having symptoms related to an ulcer. Couldn’t keep certain foods down, anytime I had an adult beverage my upper stomach was in excruciating pain and even with foods as well. Fast forward to last month, started seeing my doctor and doing tests, I dropped 28 pounds in 4 weeks and symptoms were getting unbearable. Last week I did a test that if they had done the right one I would of seen the problem but we did one relating to ulcer symptoms and it got overlooked because that test wouldn’t show what my underlying problem was. August 31st I was beyond tired, I was in so much pain and I couldn’t keep even rice down. By midnight on the 1st I decide to go to the ER. THANK GOD I DID! I was having shortness of breath so they took me back right away and started testings. Next thing I know I’m in a CAT scan and not even 30 mins later the doctor comes to my bed and says I’m not leaving and we need to do emergency surgery to remove my gall bladder. Dr. Puri and his team went to work. My case was severe and he was kind of excited (his voice was real enthusiastic) to be doing my surgery because of how bad my case was AND HONESTLY I’m beyond gracious for having him as my surgeon. He is a tall, dark and handsome legend!!!!! Usually I’m super private but I am writing this to educate people to not take their health for granted! If I had waited any longer who knows what would have happened. Pay attention to signs. I know my body but i was living with toxicity in my body for months thinking it would subside. If you are having stomach issues, don’t delay like I did and go get screened! Take your health seriously! I think women, we just deal with things because we are so used to just making it work all the time we don’t pay attention when it’s not working. Especially me, I just keep going and don’t stop. This lesson has taught me to stop and breathe. I’m grateful for my doctor and his whole surgical team for taking care of me.
