- wrdsmth on 35mm. Since the start of the year we’ve been working on a really special short documentary about wrdsmth and how his words and work have inspired people. If you’ve been to LA you’ve probably seen his murals all over the city, and his art reaches cities and countries around the world. ryangalvez__ and I have been following him through LA to some of his favorite and most meaningful murals, stopping for conversations and laid back interviews about his life and journey. With no set end date, the process itself has been the best part. It’s been so rewarding to watch this project take shape and evolve over time.
- 1/3 throwback posts. All of these were taken in 2013. Feeling a bit nostalgic because I’ve been digging through old hard drives and found so many photos I hadn’t seen in years. And now, as I’m getting ready to leave for Europe tomorrow, it all feels surreal. 2013 was the first time I ever went to Europe. I lived in Amsterdam for half a year. During that time, I took so many photographs. I loved documenting my world and carried a point-and-shoot with me everywhere I went. Those 6 months abroad changed my life, and that’s really when I started feeling inspired to pursue photography as a career. When I look back at these images from 12 years ago, I feel grateful that I found my passion early and that I had the time and freedom to experiment with photography and document my life.
