🔥 Why Your Plank Might Look “Wrong” (But Actually Isn’t)

Most people think a “perfect plank” means a perfectly flat back… but here’s the truth:

👉 If you’re really engaging your abs, your back might look slightly rounded-and that’s a GOOD thing.

Here’s why:
	•	When you tuck your pelvis slightly (posterior tilt) and press your ribs down, you fire up the abs instead of dumping the load into your low back.
	•	This controlled rounding is not the same as sagging hips. Sagging = stress on the spine. Engagement = tension in the abs.
	•	Think of pulling your belt buckle toward your rib cage-this is how you generate force in the muscles you actually want to train.

The Goal: Feel your abs light up like crazy, not just “hold still.”

💡 Next time you plank:
	1.	Press the floor away with your forearms/hands.
	2.	Tuck your pelvis slightly under.
