✨ Korea Blockchain Week 2025 has officially wrapped up — but the conversations it sparked are just beginning.

For one electrifying week, Seoul became the epicenter of Web3 innovation. From the IMPACT conference at Walkerhill to the Fablo Lounge in Myeongwolgwan, the energy was unstoppable — panels, exhibitions, and unexpected encounters blending blockchain, AI, gaming, and art.

We met founders shaping the next phase of decentralized tech, investors sharing bold predictions, and creators pushing culture forward. And yes — the after-parties at Sevit Floating Island and Ready Sui Play! kept that KBW spirit alive long after sunset. 🌇

Here are some of the voices and impressions we captured along the way — from global speakers to local innovators redefining what Web3 means in Korea.

Somewhere high above China, halfway between Seoul and Frankfurt, I decided it was time for a little inflight skincare. ✈️💆‍♀️ I pulled out a few sheet masks I’d packed and shared them with the two Korean girls sitting next to me.

Soon, our whole row looked like a cozy spa in the sky — laughter, selfies, and the scent of green tea masks filling the cabin. Just then, the lovely #Lufthansa attendant insblaue_ appeared with sparkling wine and fruit. 🥂🍓 Three glowing faces, a toast at 35,000 feet — not a bad way to cross continents.

📍GS25 x Demon Hunters – at Annyeong Insadong. Not your usual convenience store 👀

Tucked inside the Annyeong Insadong building, this GS25 has a corner dedicated to the Demon Hunters universe ⚔️

You’ll find themed ramen, snacks, and collectibles — a fun little stop for fans or anyone exploring the area. It’s still a regular GS25… just with a touch of fantasy hidden between the aisles.

Every October 9, Korea celebrates Hangul Day (한글날) — the day language became power. 💬✨

Nearly 600 years ago, King Sejong the Great created Hangul so that everyone, not just the elite, could read and write.
Simple in form, brilliant in design — each letter reflects the shape of the tongue and mouth, a perfect harmony of science, compassion, and creativity.

Hangul didn’t just change how Koreans wrote — it changed how they thought, dreamed, and connected.
From ancient scrolls to neon signs in Seoul, Hangul continues to speak of innovation, equality, and national pride.

🕊️ Happy Hangul Day — a celebration of letters that gave voice to a nation.

When rain falls during Chuseok, Seoul reveals a different kind of beauty—quiet, reflective, and full of cozy corners to explore. ☔✨

🏛️ Museums & Heritage Indoors
Skip the palace courtyards and explore the National Palace Museum or the National Folk Museum, both located inside Gyeongbokgung Palace—no umbrella needed.
Or spend an afternoon at the National Museum of Korea, where world-class exhibitions meet one of Seoul’s best souvenir shops.

🎨 Art & Design
Take shelter at Leeum Museum of Art or wander the futuristic halls of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP)—both perfect for rainy-day inspiration.

🛍️ Modern Tradition
Instead of outdoor Insadong, head to Annyeong Insadong, an indoor version filled with artisanal shops, tea cafés, and even a new Demon Hunter–themed GS25 convenience store.

🍵 Slow Moments
As evening falls, find a teahouse in Ikseon-dong or Bukchon, listen to the rain on hanok rooftops, and let the calm of the holiday sink in.

Can you believe it!? In Seoul we even have vending machine for the garbage bags we need to buy to collect our household waist in them. You can buy this bags in the convenience stores too, but it’s my first time seeing a vending machine :))

Separating garbage can be complicated here in Seoul. Buy the way every municipality in the capital city has those own bags so it’s recommended to buy locally as this is how you pay tax for the garbage you generate. 2025-10-05 04:43:37 Can you believe it!? .. 446 -82% 4 -89%

If you’re looking to experience true Japanese izakaya dining in Seoul, Izakaya Sai in Apgujeong is a must-visit. 🍶

Already known in Garosugil for its refined dishes, Sai recently hosted a special networking dinner in collaboration with Mutvengers, bringing together influencers from various fields over an evening of sake pairing and creative Japanese dining.

The menu, curated by two chefs who are certified sake sommeliers, balances innovation with tradition. Every dish is thoughtfully paired — this time with Miyakanbai Junmai Ginjo, a sake with a soft and delicate umami flavor. The pairing was one of the highlights of the night — every time the sake met a new dish, the balance of taste and aroma was just perfect. Truly impressive from start to finish.

Highlights included:
🍣 Sashimi Moriawase
🦀 Truffle Crab Claw Gratin
🍙 Uni & Ikura Bomb Roll
🐟 Fresh Tuna Tataki
🥩 Wagyu Steak (BMS 9++)
🐚 Jeju Abalone
🍳 Uni Tamago Sand
🦞 Snow Crab Hand Roll
🍲 Oseng Nabemono

Perfect food, perfect sake, and a modern yet cozy atmosphere — Sai delivers the full high-end izakaya experience right in the heart of Apgujeong.

Korea is home to treasures of heritage you might not yet know—stories of learning, laughter, and memory. 🌿 Let’s begin in Gyeongbuk-do, where the city of Andong holds some of the nation’s most timeless cultural legacies.

Here you’ll find the UNESCO-listed Hahoe Folk Village, a riverside settlement where tiled-roofed hanok and centuries-old traditions still breathe. Andong is also known as the birthplace of the Confucian academies (seowon), once the beating heart of Korean scholarship, several of which are honored as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

From the famous Andong Mask Dance Festival to the taste of Andong soju—the city’s craft that dates back 700 years—this is a place where every corner carries heritage worth remembering. ✨

Seoul Fireworks Fesrival 2025 drew almost 1M people to watch from the surrounding Hangang Parks! How can you accommodate so many people? It’s a challenge and some take it seriously by camping from early in the morning, like 7 AM.

It’s an epic experience and there lots of chances to see the fireworks and have your own unique experience - private yachts on Hangang, from hotel rooms overlooking the river, building rooftops, or just your friend’s terrace… possibilities are endless.

You can also join multiple Hangang Park parties some with great panoramic views and enjoy good music and company while watching the show.

Going home might be a challenge if you depend on taxi but public transport is so good in Seoul, you just need a bit of a patience.

Was it worth it to spend time find the best spot, mingle among 1M people? YES! And I will do it again and again! 2025-09-28 09:42:03 Seoul Fireworks F.. 8,364 +239% 84 +121%
Every autumn since 2000, the Hanwha Seoul International Fireworks Festival has transformed the Han River into one of the world’s most dazzling stages. 🌌 What began as a corporate celebration has grown into one of Seoul’s biggest cultural events, drawing millions to Yeouido each year.

This time I was lucky enough to stand under the lights as Italy and Canada painted their stories across the sky, before Korea’s own Hanwha team closed the night with a spectacular 30-minute finale. 🎇 The cheers, the music, and the reflections in the river made it feel like the whole city was part of the performance.

Seoul knows how to celebrate — and the fireworks are more than just a show; they’re a tradition that keeps bringing the world together above the Han River.

✨ I’ve always been impressed by the balance that k.heritage strikes — originality, quality, and price all in one. Seeing their very first pop-up unfold inside The Hyundai Seoul feels like a milestone worth celebrating.

The K-Craft Zone brings together Korea’s finest heritage masters with contemporary designers, creating exclusive pieces that feel more like art than simple goods. Some are on the pricier side, but the craftsmanship speaks for itself.

The K-Goods Zone is where discovery gets playful — Magpie & Tiger keyrings, Gat-inspired cups, the debut of Palace Perfume, and the Oyat Blossom Edition light bulb. Perfect souvenirs that carry a piece of Korea home.

And don’t miss the photo zone — a chance to capture your own moment alongside hanbok-dressed characters. 📸

✨ A new way to ride the Han River! ✨
Today I tried the Hangang Bus boat from Yeouido to Jamsil—and it feels like Seoul has its own river subway now. 🚤

The new terminals are sleek, with cafés and convenience stores to make waiting easy. Once onboard, you glide past the city skyline with assigned seating, panoramic windows, and quiet hybrid boats.

🛶 7 piers connect Seoul’s riverside parks: Magok, Mangwon, Yeouido, Apgujeong, Oksu, Ttukseom, and Jamsil.
🕒 Runs 11:00–21:30 (expanding to 07:00–22:30 from October).
💳 Only ₩3,000, and you can tap in with T-money or the Climate Card for unlimited rides.
