![BIG ANNOUNCEMENT, NYC!❤️❤️❤️
As many of you know, my former restaurant By Chloe was co-opted by a deceitful partner in 2017. It was an abrupt halt to what had otherwise been a magical experience. I still remember leaving our flagship store for the last time and feeling an overwhelming sense of unease. It didn’t seem right to mourn the end when I knew, deep down, that I had only just begun. Standing on the corner of Bleecker and MacDougal, I promised myself that someday, somehow, I would return. And when I did, it would be on my own terms.
Well… that day has come!!
I’m beyond ecstatic to announce the official grand opening of my new restaurant, CHLOE—located at 185 Bleecker Street, the same corner where I opened By Chloe exactly nine years ago. CHLOE is an all-day café serving classic eats with thoughtfully sourced ingredients (all vegan, of course!).
There are no words to express how grateful I am for this incredible opportunity and the amazing team who has helped turn this dream into a reality. We’ve been working around the clock to create a truly special place that I hope will become one of your favorite neighborhood spots.
Doors open on Tuesday, July 16th at 12 p.m. Can’t wait to see you there!

Giant Hazelnut Oat Milk Chocolate Chunk Sea Salt Cookies
Makes about 7 cookies
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup vegan margarine
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup agave
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1 (3.5-ounce) 7th Heaven Hazelnut Cream Oat Milk Chocolate bar
1 (3.5-ounce) 7th Heaven Classic Oat Milk Chocolate bar, chopped up for topping
Flaky sea salt, for topping
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 or 3 large baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Using a stand or hand mixer, beat the margarine, brown sugar, agave, and vanilla extract until fluffy. Slowly beat in the flour mixture. Scoop about ¼ cup of dough into your hand and make a small well with your fingers. Put 2 squares of 7th Heaven Hazelnut Cream Oat Milk Chocolate bars into the center and top with another ¼ cup scoop of cookie dough. Place on the prepared baking sheet, and if an even circle cookie shape is desired, press into a large ring mold (I used 5-inch). Leave about 4 inches between each cookie. Bake for 9 minutes, then remove from oven and top with chopped chocolate or chopped 7th Heaven Classic Oat Milk Chocolate and a pinch of flaky sea sat. Return to oven and continue baking until the edges are golden brown, about 2 to 4 more minutes. Let cool on the pan and serve.]()

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip French Toast Casserole
Serves 4 to 6
Make ahead tip: Assemble the night before, store covered in refrigerator overnight, and bake in morning!
1 ½ cups canned coconut milk (or any nondairy milk)
¾ cup canned pumpkin puree
1/3 cup pure maple syrup, plus extra for drizzling
½ cup JUST Egg
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
½ teaspoon sea salt
12 ounces of bread, cubed (I used an Italian loaf and cut thick cubes. You could also use any kind of bread, including sliced sandwich bread.)
½ cup mini vegan chocolate chips, plus extra for topping
Powdered sugar for dusting, optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8-inch square pan.
In a blender, blend coconut milk, pumpkin, maple syrup, JUST Egg, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and salt until smooth. In a large bowl, toss the bread cubes with the pumpkin mixture until each bread cube is coated. Mix in chocolate chips.
Fill the prepared pan with the mixture and lightly press it down with the back of a spoon or your hands. Top with extra chocolate chips, if desired.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown on top. Let it sit for at least 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Dust with powdered sugar, lightly drizzle with maple syrup if desired, and serve warm. This can be baked right before serving or earlier that day and then reheated for 8 to 10 more minutes right before serving.]()
