After spending 5 days with goldwell.global I am full! And no, I’m not talking about carbs! 😂

My lush client is back four weeks after letting loose on her hair during her first week of chemo, but this time, she’s started to experience some hair loss.
.
I told her during her last appointment that when the time comes, she should claim control and decide what to do next rather than just letting the hairloss take effect, and that’s exactly what she did.

We cut her hair so the undesired areas were hidden, and she could continue to enjoy her hair for a bit longer.

The myth. The legend. The icon!

My gorgeous girl cazarter got married this week and I had the absolute honour of doing her wedding hair.
.
I love love love doing bridal hair, and to be quite honest, I’d love to do more of it!
.
Here’s a rundown of how I created caz’s gorg bridal hair:
1- prepped with volumising sprays
2- added her hair extensions
3- tonged each section and pinned to set
4- section by section was dressed out using a comb
5- half way up the back, I slicked down the front using a wax stick and secured it in between her extensions
6- finished dressing out her waves
7- used a string hairspray and hair dust
.
Caz is literally one of the best and most beautiful souls I’ve ever met, and her big day was insane!!
.

My lovely client drove nearly 5 hours to sit in my salon chair for a grey hair transformation… but one problem, her hair color wasn’t that grey?
.
But after a lengthy discussion, she decided she still wanted to go do it, so that’s exactly what we did!
.
We didn’t touch her natural grey hair around the hairline, but instead used an air touch technique, varying the depth of the blowout to made her hair feel natural and varied.

It’s been nearly 4 months since we last nicolejamiesonx hair colour… 4 MONTHS!
.
We went for it (again) and after 7 hours (I don’t know why it took so long tbh 😩) we gave her a few different blues and also gave my niece her first haircut :)
.
Here’s a rundown of the goldwelluki hair color used:
Root colour - 6na 5na 20vol
Bleach slices & hairline - oxycur 20vol
Pretone - colorance 10v 9na
Pretone blue - pure pigments blue & hot water
Navy - elumen play blue & black
Electric blue - elumen play blue & clear
Light blue - elumen play mint, blue and clear

I also used k18hair full service to keep hair at its best and obviously used framar foil!

![5 HOURS TO SLIGHTLY ALTER HAIR HAIR COLOUR™️

But why? Why did it take 5 hours to softer her hair colour?
.
Here’s a list of reasons:
1- we had to do back to back foils around the hairline to soften the blonde.
2- we had to lift out the previous calico sections
3- we added more blondes in between her copper
4- she has fine, but masses of hair
5- her hair knots super easily
.
BUT… I did use the new wash method by hairstorystudio to precleanse her scalp, cleanse without causing too much tangling (using new wash), and primed her hair to make it easier to manage afterward (primer). I also used the lift spray because I wanted some volume and boy did it work!
.
Here’s a rundown of the colour:
-hairline lowlight goldwelluki 8k 7g colorance 2%
-hairline highlight oxycur 3%
-hairline root colour 8n 6%
-global copper 7k 7kg 7g 20vol
.
For the haircut, I found an online tutorial for a butterfly cut, bringing all layers forward.

![CLIENT HATED HER HAIRCUT™️

My lovely client was desperate for a haircut and ended up getting something she didn’t want, so when she sat in my chair, we had to work out a way to get her to love to again.
.
Her issues were:
-layers ontop were too short
-doesn’t like volume
-the length was too wide
-loved being dark, didn’t like the greys around hairline
-didn’t know what products to use
.
So to counteract that, we layered outward instead of up, added more shape around the front, and leant into the fact she had shorter layers instead of fighting against it.
.
I also added very fine highlights around the hairline to soften her colour and kept the tone neutral.
.
Safe to say, she absolutely loved it, and even after getting caught in the rain, she loved how it looked.
.
I even think that her previous haircut done us a favour, because it’s forced her to try something she might not have.
