![the most special Porsche of the 2020s? Meet the Porsche 963RSP, commissioned by Porsche race team owner Roger Searle Penske together with Porsche as a nod to the original road legal Porsche 917K of the 70s.
Further changes compared to the original 963LMDH racecar include: increased ride height, softened dampers, road ready lights and a remap to run on a standard fuel pump with a less harsh power delivery. ![I drove the brand new Mercedes CLE 53 AMG across Europe.
Dynamically it felt closest to a baby Bentley Continental GT, there’s no getting away from its weight and it didn’t feel happy being pushed up the tight mountain passes of Europe, however show it a long winding motorway and it’ll rocket you through continents with an eager grin on its face, and yours; happily cruising at its maximum speed.
The good: Great sound system, the sports seats weren’t at all uncomfortable, room in the back for an actual adult humans. Nice interior layout with more premium materials than not. A lot more people gave it admiring looks than i expected. User interface / carplay worked effortlessly.
The less good: it really wants for a remap and a more throaty exhaust, even with 450bhp it felt slightly sluggish. There is fake engine noise pumped into the cabin. No V8 engine. 20% of the interior did feel like you’d find it in a cheap base spec CLE. #cars #mercedes #mercedesamg]()

![Maserati lent me their top of the range Grecale Trofeo and this is what I like and dislike about it.
This car exceeded my expectations and I think it’s the perfect understated alternative to the now mildly stale Lamborghini Urus.
I just fear that one day I’ll be driving on the motorway to see one of these dangerously cutting through traffic and of course there’ll be a very small man fully clad in Nike tech fleece in the drivers seat, extremely uncool. This however is the reality of being an ‘entry level’ exotic brand but if you put price, depreciation and chavy customers aside, this is a fantastic car.
