![Summer at the cottage… where time slows down but the memories speed by 💛.
The boys lived barefoot and free, spending their days diving off docks, chasing frogs and snakes, and turning into little wild adventurers. Hudson caught his very first pike 🎣, and Ashton… well, Ashton lit up every boat and dock we touched!
But what made this summer unforgettable wasn’t just the adventures, it was the people. Long days and late nights with friends and family. Endless laughs with Funcle Jamie (forever the heart of the party 🤪), and precious time with Phil’s parents, moments we’ll hold onto tighter than anything. Those memories sat around the screened in porch, on the beach, in the little everyday moments… they’re the ones that will stay with us forever 🙏🏼
We are sun kissed, exhausted, and sad it’s over… but the kind of sad that means it was that good 💕
These are the summers you wish you could freeze forever. The ones that make you realize life is flying by, and the only thing that matters is who you spend it with 🥹

![I kept putting off Disney…Waiting for the “right age,” the perfect weather, the nap schedules to line up 😅 I remembered the magic from my own childhood but worried it would be too overwhelming to take on with little kids 😞
Well, consider this your sign: book the trip. 💫
Yes, it was HOT (I’m talking sweat-in-places-you-didn’t-know-sweat hot) ☀️Yes, we got caught in two rainstorms ⛈️ Yes, the kids skipped naps and bedtime routines went out the window 🫠
And yet… it was the best. trip. ever 🥰
Seeing Disney through my kids’ eyes was unreal. Sharing it with my sister made it even more special. Every ride line felt like a movie set 🙌🏼 the attention to detail blew us away, and it was so clean I couldn’t believe it!
💥 Pro Tips:
– Lightning Lanes = 100% worth it to skip a few lines 🙌🏼
– Schedule lunch during peak heat for some AC & recharge 😅
– Wear the matching shirts. Rock the Mickey ears. Everyone looks adorable & it brings the energy 🐭
– Don’t sleep on the shows. We went to Fantasmic!, Festival of the Lion King and watched the fireworks which were all truly spectacular!
– Let go of the schedule. Go with the flow. That’s where the magic happens ✨
We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and loved it!! There were free buses to and from the parks, and the kids couldn’t WAIT to see which animals were outside of our room every morning!!! But honestly, we didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel as we were at the parks from open to close every day 😂🤪
Disney is chaotic. It’s exhausting. And it’s pure magic. Don’t wait for the perfect moment—this is your moment. 🏰💛

![Let’s just say our Prince Charming’s efforts did not seem to work on this Princess 🤣🫣
I came to Disney expecting princesses and pixie dust like when I was a kid ✨ Instead, I got four boys, a straw up someone’s nose, a nonstop Star Wars character hunt, and a 2-year-old who thinks thrill rides are a personality trait 😂😂 This is not the Disney trip I dreamed of, its EVEN better (and louder) and I wouldn’t change a thing 🥹❤️

![There were moments along this journey of raising ✨twins✨ that I didn’t believe in myself. I didn’t think I could do it, I didn’t think I would be a good enough mom, I didn’t think I could handle the pregnancy, I didn’t think I wanted two babies at once.
Boy, was I ever wrong. These two boys right here rocked my world but in the greatest way imaginable. They bring so much light and love every day, they wake up laughing and go to bed laughing. They are kind, gentle, stand up for what’s right and wrong, love their friends and especially their brothers.
They taught me that I can do hard things (even carry and deliver 14.3lbs of babies 😂). They taught me about what it means to be patient, because man do they ever require it 🤪.
We constantly say that we truly believe if everyone had a twin, the world would be a better place. Thank you for showing us the true meaning of friendship, brotherhood, and parenthood. You test us in every way possible and I’m so thankful for all of it.
