GOD IS GREAT🙏🏽🙏🏽 #Backstory Five years ago I became sole care provider & POA for my 88 year old mom after she suffered a stroke which left her wheelchair bound and unable to walk on her own. In addition, last year I moved my mom here to LA to live with me after an unexpected house fire at my childhood home left her displaced. Needless to say…life has been challenging and very different as of late. Well, I decided to do my best to improve my mom’s quality of life and to help her learn to walk again. She had given up on walking again years ago…but I believed it was possible, so by faith I took on this assignment. There was never a moment when God was not in control. A few months ago I started my mom doing 100 pull-ups a day from her wheelchair using the sofa to strengthen her hips & legs…I also changed her diet. Then by divine orchestration, the doctors and therapists all fell into place and after sitting in that wheelchair for over 5 years…my mom stood and took her first steps. In that moment, EVERYTHING I had sacrificed came full circle. Lord, I thank you🤍 Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart.❤️ That’s all I got.
