Happy Father’s Day! I still remember calling my dad to tell him I was heading to the Arctic Circle for the Fjällräven Polar Creator Experience. When I shared the news, he started crying. I asked him why — and he said: “For Fjällräven to recognize your efforts and the work you’ve done all these years is emotional. Today marks the 112th anniversary of Harriet Tubman’s passing. In 2020, I embarked on a transformative journey, cycling along one of the Underground Railroad routes from New Orleans to Niagara Falls. My pilgrimage culminated in Auburn, NY, where I visited Tubman’s final residence and paid my respects at her resting place. As I stood beside her grave, I reflected on her extraordinary courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to freedom. Retracing even a portion of the path she traversed countless times to lead others to liberty was both humbling and inspiring.
