Lyrics[Intro]
“All aboard, hahahahahaha
Ayy

[Verse 1]
Crazy, but that’s how it goes
Millions of people living as foes
Maybe it’s not too late
To learn how to love and forget how to hate

[Pre-Chorus]
Mental wounds not healing
Life’s a bitter shame

Chorus]
I’m going off the rails on a crazy train
I’m going off the rails on a crazy train
(Let’s go)

[Verse 2]
I’ve listened to preachers, I’ve listened to fools I’ve watched all the dropouts, who make their own rules
One person conditioned to rule and control
The media sells it and you live the role.”

After a long ride, I made it back to one of my favorite beaches—just in time to make a plant-based trail ceviche before sunset.

Hearts of palm. Mango. Avocado. Cherry tomatoes. Red onion. Lime.

I prepped it all with the new leathermantools Glider—a lightweight folding knife designed for life on the move.

What I love most about the Glider is how quietly it earns its place. It’s sharp, precise, and easy to carry—whether I’m riding through cities or coasting toward the sea. It disappears into your kit… until you need it. And then it just works.

Meals like this are more than food. They’re a pause. A moment of presence.

This is what adventure tastes like.

Happy Father’s Day!

I still remember calling my dad to tell him I was heading to the Arctic Circle for the Fjällräven Polar Creator Experience. When I shared the news, he started crying. I asked him why — and he said:

“For Fjällräven to recognize your efforts and the work you’ve done all these years is emotional. For them to value you and invite you to represent the brand is emotional — and I’m proud of you.”

And then I started crying too — because the only reason I’m even in this position to go to the Arctic Circle is because of my father’s love, support, and the guidance he’s given me my entire life.

I remember how hard he worked, how many long hours he put in to provide for our family. He always supported my curiosity — through every expedition as a child and now as an adult.

For my dad to witness the fruits of both of our efforts was priceless. We hugged, and he simply said: “I’m proud of you.”

My dad has been my guide through this journey we call life — the perfect father for an adventurous spirit.

To all the fathers who cheer us on, who believe in our dreams, and who walk alongside us, even from afar — thank you. 🌍❄️❤️ 2025-06-16 00:20:26 .. 468 +17% 20 +20%
Most people know me for the miles I ride—but my bikepacking endurance starts long before I hit the saddle. Running 🏃🏾‍♂️💨
This morning I hit the Nike Running Studio to work on efficiency and build the endurance that powers my long-distance rides.

I’ll be sharing more of my workouts soon—including swimming in the pool and open water, which happens to be my first love. 🌊🏊🏽‍♂️

Happy World Bicycle Day! 🚴🏾‍♂️

On June 24, 1897, the fearless Buffalo Soldiers of the 25th Infantry Bicycle Corps posed for this photo in Livingston, Montana—trailblazers who rode 1,900 miles to prove the power and potential of two wheels.

Exactly 125 years later, on June 24, 2022, I stood in the same place, retracing their route to honor their legacy. These men continue to inspire me—to ride with purpose, to explore more deeply, and to tell stories that matter.

Today, on World Bicycle Day, we celebrate the bicycle as a tool for freedom, discovery, and connection. 🌍

May is National Bike Month. It’s also Mental Health Awareness Month. That overlap? It’s no coincidence.

Because anyone who rides knows: biking isn’t just about movement—it’s about mental clarity, healing, and freedom.

So this month, when we ride in celebration of bikes, we also ride in recognition of mental health. We ride for resilience. We ride for joy. We ride to feel whole.

Because the road doesn’t just lead us forward—it helps us heal.

Happy Celebrate Trails Day! I’m joining railstotrails and people nationwide in celebrating America’s trails today by going for a ride on the Marvin Braude Bike Trail and I’m using TrailLink to help guide my adventure.

The Marvin Braude Bike Trail is a 22-mile paved bicycle path that runs along the Los Angeles County coastline between my hometown of Santa Monica and Torrance Beach. The path is open year-round and it’s arguably the most iconic trail in California

To me, being able to get out on trails close to where I live and when I’m
going on a longer adventure is important because, it provides me a sanctuary for decompression. On these protected paths, I can lower my defenses and feel truly safe, allowing me to remain present, relax completely, and clear my mind. This mental reset ensures I return home more centered and emotionally available for my family.

I hope you’ll get outside to #CelebrateTrails today too—and that you’ll feel inspired to spend more time on trails every day! 2025-04-27 08:33:33 Happy Cel.. 361 -10% 21 +26%

The tuxedo originated in the 1860s as a more comfortable alternative to formal tailcoats. Named after Tuxedo Park, NY where it gained popularity in America, it quickly became the symbol of sophisticated evening wear around the world.

Meanwhile, the Brompton folding bike revolutionized urban commuting when Andrew Ritchie designed it in 1975 from his London flat overlooking the Brompton Oratory (hence the name). Today, they’re handmade in London and these ingenious folding bikes are beloved worldwide for their practical elegance and space-saving design. It became the ultimate urban transportation solution.

Both represent innovations that transformed their respective worlds—formal fashion and urban mobility. When combined? It’s a ride that’s equal parts style and substance.

Who says you can’t look sharp while being practical? Pure class on wheels!

Commuting on my bicycle to a new beginning!

After countless applications and interviews (including that one I thought it was the “perfect” job for me that didn’t work out), The Higher Power had bigger plans in store. Sometimes the path takes unexpected turns, but I’m grateful for where it led me.

If you’re in that uncertain place right now, wondering why things aren’t working out - keep going. Trust the process. Your detour might just be a better route. ✨

We recently celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Voting Rights March from Selma to Montgomery.

But did you know that originally the march was going to start from Marion to Montgomery?

The events in Marion, Alabama, particularly the death of civil rights activist Jimmie Lee Jackson, served as a catalyst for the Selma to Montgomery marches, culminating in “Bloody Sunday” and ultimately leading to the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

We honored the ‘March that never happened’ to pay homage to Jimmie Lee Jackson and the rest of the Foot Soldiers.

“Starting the story in Selma is like reading a book by starting in the middle and not going back to the beginning so you can get the total picture of what actually happened in 1965.” - Perry County Commissioner Alfred Turner Jr.

Today marks the 112th anniversary of Harriet Tubman’s passing.

In 2020, I embarked on a transformative journey, cycling along one of the Underground Railroad routes from New Orleans to Niagara Falls. My pilgrimage culminated in Auburn, NY, where I visited Tubman’s final residence and paid my respects at her resting place.

As I stood beside her grave, I reflected on her extraordinary courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to freedom. Retracing even a portion of the path she traversed countless times to lead others to liberty was both humbling and inspiring.

Harriet Tubman’s legacy reminds us that one person’s determination can truly change the course of history.
