Big thanks to bh.creators! I’ve been filming my first short film using only natural lighting. but at some point we all need a lighting setup to orchestrate dynamic scenes and motivate natural light sources. With that said, the godox light tubes fits perfectly in my workflow and gear as a solo filmmaker. For this cinematic scene I storyboarded a few reference images for two things: Visualization of the location for the scene and to also see what color combinations evoked the emotions I wanted to portray on screen. Blue and Green creates a teal color - and color theory suggests that blue evokes a moody and sad feeling. pairing that with green evokes a moody but gritty feeling that I wanted the audience to feel. The RGB color spectrum of the Tube Lights allowed me to get very granular in matching my scene with the reference images.
