![Here we go again :) As you all know, the Met Gala is widely known as fashion’s biggest night… Not just in the US but globally.
This year the theme encouraged everyone to take it a step further considering the indescribable style black culture has been gifting us with throughout the decades.
Jeff is a legend in his own right, therefore, his team suggested we create a confident, fearless and meaningful look.
With an event as significant as this one, skin prep is key ahead of creating the final look for the big day. On Saturday, we used the Cream Cleanser to thoroughly cleanse and hydrate the skin, following with the New Extra Strength Active Peel Brightening System to resurface and brighten the skin. This new 2-step system leaves the skin visibly hydrated and glowing. As a final touch, I used the lip polish to gently exfoliate and remove any dry, dead skin from the lips.
Monday MET Day, We started with the Cream Cleanser, a go-to product for skin prep that gently cleanses while providing hydration. Next, I applied the Hydra-Cool Serum to soothe and hydrate the skin—especially beneficial after using the Extra Strength Active Peel Brightening System days prior. I continued with a light lymphatic drainage massage on Jeff’s face and neck, mainly focusing on the jawline and cheekbones using the Reparative Moisture Emulsion to help give a healthy, natural glow for the big night. This product happens to be my favorite underneath any makeup.
I topped it all off with a pea-size amount of Youth Eye Complex, tapping all around the eye for extra hydration. Lastly, I used the Youth Lip Elixir for a little boost of fullness plus some extra moisture for the lips. isclinical]()
