Labiaplasty is not just removing excess tissue, it is an art. Often patients have asymmetry, folds and various fusion of tissues that I trim, design and then piece together in a way that looks seamless, natural and creates a beautiful symmetrical heart shape. This is a video of one of the most complex labiaplasty surgeries I have performed - as you can see from the pieces, this patient had very long labia that was bunched and folded along the length of the labia minora. She also had several excess pieces of lateral clitoral hood that were fused to the labia very differently and the labia minora had deep and irregular folds. She had constant daily discomfort from the excess tissue as well as recurrent infections. She now has a perfect, symmetrical tucked in heart shape and she had no pain after surgery.
