![A spice bag in London?! 🍟🥡
Yes guys today I’m trying something for the very first time, a spice bag. Basically the national dish of Ireland.
For the uninitiated, a spice bag is a glorious mishmash of crispy shredded chicken (or chicken balls), chunky chips, stir-fried vegetables, and a generous shake of secret seasoning.
While the origin is up for discussion – its believed to be created circa 2010 when a bunch of drunk lads went to a Chinese takeaway and asked for chicken spice and chips.
Irish student living in London Cathal has come over to study business and was frustrated with the fact that he couldn’t get a spice bag like the ones at home,
He’s been working months on a recipe to give him that home comfort. Lucky for us he’s figured it out and launched Paddy Wok in Deptford.

Also - the word Spice-Bag was added to the dictionary this year as well – so im calling it the year of the spice bag!

Yes guys today we’ve got an absolute worldie of a pizza spot to introduce you to.
And Of course it’s at the Three Colts Tavern!Who have had some absolute cracking traders over the years (75 Slices / Dough Hands)
Next up to the plate is Short Road Pizza who is run by the legend that is Ugo, possibly one of the nicest guys I’ve met in the food world. As most of the top London pizza traders, he started making pizza in lockdown and the rest they say is history.
They’re also one of the only places doing a tavern style pizza - where the dough is fermented for five days which gives you this unique cracker style dough which when cooked at two different temeperatures gives you an ultra thin and crispy pie known for its ability to hold generous toppings without becoming soggy
If you love pizza you gotta try this spot!

400g of 40 day aged sirloin steak served with bone marrow for the absolutely mad price of £29.95 - this is daylight robbery in today’s society. The quality of the meat speaks for itself.
