![In five months, I removed over a quarter ton of small pieces of metal from the streets of Atlanta that could have damaged our tires. I’ve cleaned up many interstate intersections along I-20, I-285, I-75, and I-85, mostly around the northern quadrant of the metro Atlanta area so far. ![Over 65 pounds in a 6 mile loop on Lee St. I was very thorough at every intersection along the way. I removed several large flat pieces of metal that could’ve been scary for turning motorcycle riders. I filled the magnet trailer multiple times and used the magnet hand tool a lot.]()

It’s not as bad as I thought it would be since I last went through there during construction. Unless of course it was all of our tires that cleaned up the sites. ![I had a really productive day with my magnets yesterday. I walked 3 exits on I-20 and picked up a lot of sharp objects on the roads by hand. I rode with my magnet trailer around the State Farm Arena and picked up so much more than I expected. I got around 60 lbs of metal away from our tires.]()

![I am so grateful for all the kindness and support I’ve received since my bike was stolen. Within just a couple of weeks, I had received enough in donations to buy a new bicycle and convert my blue ElliptiGO to electric, so I can pull the magnets again. I fear that one day I might snap and steal a street-sweeping truck just to get the job done right. I’d bring it back. Maybe my punishment would be the gift of officially driving the truck.
