My 14 year old son decided to make Spaghetti bolognaise for the whole family because I was too busy with work On Sunday, I had two YouTube videos to film, and time wasn’t on my side since we’d already spent a good part of the day shopping as a family. To my surprise, my Muna offered to cook Spaghetti Bolognese for everyone. I’ve never actually made this dish before, but my kids absolutely love pasta. Muna turned to YouTube for guidance, and I reminded him of something I always tell my kids: “When you’re watching a YouTube cooking video, don’t just copy it, make it your own. Hubby wanted us to pick up some hand wash and we ended up shopping for everything and everyone. Saying goodbye to our very first car in the Uk 🇬🇧 😢 Today, we say goodbye to our very first love, the first car we ever owned in the UK. When we first arrived in this country, a car wasn’t even on our minds. We spent our first year in London, where public transport made life easy, and then moved to Stockton, where the real learning phase began. Hubby was working on passing his driving test, and I was perfectly content pushing little Kaira around in her buggy. When the time finally came to buy a car, we chose a small second-hand one. Not because it was our dream car, but because our dream was bigger, to buy a home. That little car was affordable, reliable, and exactly what we needed at the time. For almost 5 years, it became part of our story. It was the first car our children ever knew here in the UK. It carried us through school runs, grocery trips, long drives, laughter, and tears, all without ever giving us major trouble. It wasn’t just a car, it was a reminder of how far we had come and what we were building for our family. Today, life looks different. We each own cars that we love, and we no longer need a third one. And so, with full hearts, we let this faithful companion go. We only hope that its next owner will love it as much as we did, and that it serves them just as faithfully as it served us. My 11-year-old opened his piggy bank for the first time this year 🙊 and you should’ve seen his brother’s reaction 🤣🤣. Even though our kids have proper bank accounts, we still let them save cash at home, it teaches them discipline. And if you know Andrea, you know he’s a hustler and very careful with his money. Today he decided to move his savings into his account, and wow… the amount he had stacked up shocked us all🙊 But the real comedy was Muna’s reaction at the end 🤣. I’m a girl mum, and since my hairstylist was unwell, I had to do my daughter’s hair myself for school resumption. Do you make your kids’ hair yourself?
