It’s been 3 months since we lost our home in Altadena to the Eaton Canyon fires. It still feels like yesterday and a decade ago at the same time. I’ve been deeply grieving this process.⁣ ⁣ For some of us who experienced childhood trauma, building a safe and sacred home as an adult is sort of a miracle. Our home was that for me. This place was never just a house with a structure and some furniture. It was a beautiful, cozy space that we patiently curated to welcome everyone.⁣ ⁣ Our home was where we had our ugliest moments as a couple and the most beautiful, healed ones. Its walls held our hands and warmed our hearts during difficult times.⁣ ⁣ Our home was loving and generous. It took so many people in and held our sorrows, tears, laughter, and joy. It helped us nurture friends who were hurting and grieving.⁣ ⁣ Our beautiful home held our memories, things that money will never be able to replace. You were home to our dreams and our heart’s deepest desires and fears, yet you grounded us. You told our stories and showed our imperfections.⁣ ⁣ You were home to many beautiful trees and creatures: wild parrots (loud and happy ones), crows, bluebirds, butterflies, ladybugs, squirrels, owls, spiders, and gophers.⁣ ⁣ We could see the most beautiful sunsets from our deck. 📍SAVE THIS FOR LATER!⁣ Here is everything you need to know to get to the Golden Bridge in Vietnam 🇻🇳 ⁣ ✨ The Golden Bridge is located inside the Sun World amusement park in Ba Na Hills. It’s a 40-60 minute drive from Da Nang or Hoi An, and you can reach it by taxi, private car/motorbike, or day tour. A taxi from Da Nang costs around $50 one way.⁣ ⁣ 🎟️ Upon arriving, follow the signs to Hoi An station Cable Car. To enjoy the park, you must purchase a cable card ticket (it’s the only way to access it as it sits almost a mile above sea level). The price includes a two-way cable car trip and free access to several parts of the park. Some attractions are charged separately. The cable car ride is 15 minutes long (one-way) and costs around $36 for adults and $30 for children up to 4.5” tall. Children smaller than 3” are free.⁣ ⁣ 🎡Once you get to the park, follow the signs to the Golden Bridge. 🌈🌈🌈 ⁣ 🌀Some pro tips: Watch the weather!
