Why I’m building generational HEALTH for them. If that wasn’t modeled to you, it’s ok, you can be the one to break that cycle and forge that path for your family now. 

And to speak on past generations, this isn’t to say they did anything intentionally wrong. The information wasn’t there. Possibly even the access (which can definitely still be the case today…) and the need also wasn’t as dire.

The results are in…

I lost 3 POUNDS OF MUSCLE 😭😭💔💔 after 2 months in Italy.

Someone could look at this and say “you lost 4 lbs!” and think it’s a good thing. But this is why the scale is so misleading. 3 pounds of that was MUSCLE and that’s not the kind of weight you want to lose!!

I worked HARD for that muscle. Now I will work to gain it back. (Who wants to join me? 💕 I’ll be doing bodylura FitStart for a few weeks then Sculpt!!) 

And I know exactly why this happened. Halfway through the trip, we ran out of our vitaluralabs protein. We also loosened up on our workout routine and didn’t do a lot of strength training. 

We walked a lot and overall I wasn’t eating as much as usual (overall calories) = the perfect storm for losing muscle mass and muscle mass = healthy metabolism! (Among it benefitting sooo many other things)

So ya… not ideal BUT we did have an amazing time and made amazing memories which are more important than any temporary change in muscle mass or weight! 

But also… let’s get to work 😉💪

2 months in Italy 🤍 we got home a few days ago after an unexpected delay in our return home. I’ll share more on that later, everything is ok now. And we are so happy to be home while at the same time, being so sad we are no longer with family. Until next time…. 🥹

It’s true! This is often referred to as “newbie gains”. When you have more weight to lose (and you’re just starting out) your body tends to respond faster compared to “trained” individuals. 

In fact, when looking at fitness studies, whether the group was “trained” or “untrained” is incredibly important since untrained individuals tend to respond quicker to fitness and nutrition efforts than trained individuals. 

This is great if you’re just starting your fitness journey! 

But happens when you’ve lost weight and those newbie gains start to slow down? I’ll share that tomorrow so follow to find out!
