This was a long time coming — and one of the most personal projects I’ve done.

I wanted a space that felt grounded, intentional, and low maintenance without sacrificing design. So I leaned into native plants, added a no-mow native grass sod (finally found the one), and layered in some functional elements I’ve always wanted — a gas firepit, decks, a greenhouse, and zones to just breathe a little.

The flagstone came from my grandparents’ house — and having a piece of that history underfoot means a lot. It’s subtle, but it anchors the space in a way that feels right.
