![The most dangerous and beautiful place I’ve ever flown. Flying over massive breaking waves and a monolithic sea arch is quite the sensation! Landing in the 50 degree water and most likely not be survivable. It’s a balance of being fully aware of your surroundings and the conditions as well as trying to take in this stunning sight.

![Over 10 years ago now I traded a motorcycle that I had I fixed up for some kiteboarding gear and fell in love with the sport. My way of being able to afford life on the road was to live as cheaply as possible so I could save money for gear and experiences. I dedicated myself to kiteboarding so I could get discounted gear. I’ve never been the best at anything but when I find something I like I give it my all to be able to progress and do it as much as possible. I’ve since fallen away from kiteboarding but these were some of the glory days! Also fun to see Booter looking svelte as ever!

![Birthdays always remind me of the timelines I set for myself when I was young—where I thought I “should” be by now. And honestly, sometimes that leaves me feeling like I haven’t like I’ve fallen short.
The other day I started scrolling through old photos, back to when I was 17, just graduating high school. I had no clue where life would take me. My only goal back then was simple: to be happy, to chase joy.
Growing up, life wasn’t easy. I was raised by a single mom battling addiction, and my dad left when I was eight. I didn’t think I’d ever amount to much. I always thought I would be a loser and never have a ife worth living to be honest.
Snowboarding was my first big passion, thanks to a discounted after-school program in 5th grade. That spark sent me west. I slept in garages, in cars, and even in a sheet fort —just to save money for gear and adventures. I knew was that I loved the outdoors, I loved learning, and I loved chasing passion.
And somehow… that path led me here.
Today I own a home. I work full-time as an adventure athlete and content creator working with some incredible brands. I’ve built a life my younger self could never have imagined.
So yeah, maybe I haven’t checked all the boxes on that old, arbitrary timeline. But when I look back, I realize I’ve exceeded what I once thought was possible. I’m proud. I’m grateful. And I wouldn’t be here without the people who’ve supported me along the way—thank you for being part of this journey.
