✨ A little more about me ✨

🔹 I was born in Russia and moved to Milan in 2014 to study.

🔹 Before that, I spent two summers in the US: 3 months in Atlanta and 3 months in San Francisco.

🔹 Now I’m based in Milan, but always dreaming about where to go next ✈️.

🔹 So far, I’ve traveled to 29 countries (and counting).

🔹 One of my favorite memories was my first solo trip at 23 — a week in Switzerland with no plan. I just had a Swiss Pass, took the first train I saw, and completely fell in love with the country 🇨🇭.

🔹 Before turning 29, I’d only been to the sea maybe 5 times in my whole life 🌊.

🔹 When people ask “sea or mountains?”… I can never choose. I love both!

🔹 My very first time in Milan was at 22, on a business trip. I could never have imagined this city would later become my home 🥹.

🔹 When I first moved here, I could not understand what’s wrong with pizza + cappuccino at 11 AM 😂

🔹 Last year, I tried a boat trip for the first time and now I’m officially obsessed 🚤.

🔹 Best travel company = my boyfriend ❤️ 2025-08-16 16:07:25 .. 17 -56% 2 -48%
The unusual idea for 1-day trip from Milan:

📍Limone Sul Garda - perhaps, one of the most beautiful and picturesque towns on Lake Garda in Italy

07.25: train Milano Centrale - 08.48 Desenzano
09:20: ferry Desenzano - 12.15 Limone
12.30: Launch at Limone
Walking and strolling at Limone
17.10: ferry Limone - 18.55 Desenzano
19.20: dinner at Desenzano
20.53: train Desenzano - 21.45 Milano Centrale

If you ask me:

Which Greek island did you like the most?

I would probably say: the one you can only reach by boat.

📍These pictures were taken at Archangelos Lerou.

During my last boat trip in Greece, we were stuck there for almost two days because of strong winds.

No electricity.
Barely any internet.
Thank God we had a fridge with some food, so we cooked on board.

…and we woke up to the cries of seagulls,
and watched wild goats wandering the hills.

This is the Greece you won’t discover on any other trip ❤️ 2025-07-26 00:38:06 If you ask me:.. 36 -7% 0 -100%

Next time you go to Greece make sure to try these experiences:

✅ Street-corner pita gyros
✅ A real authentic Greek salad
✅ Feta cheese baked with honey
✅ Creamy fava: trust me on this one!
✅ Sunset on a boat, spritz in hand - magic
✅ Authentic ruins over 2,000 years old to feel the history
✅ Meeting local goats on uninhabited islands
✅ Swimming in the bluest sea & spotting sea life

🇬🇷 And the most important part?
Experiencing it all… from a boat trip ⛵️

I really didn’t expect this ⛵️

Here are the 5 reasons I fell in love with boat trips:

⛵️ Authentic hidden spots
You reach beaches & coves no road can take you to.

⛵️ No mass tourism
No crowds, no noise, just the sound of the sea.

⛵️ Barefoot & free
No shoes, just salty air and your feet on the deck.

⛵️ Sunrises & sunsets at sea
Watching the sun rise from the water is magical!

⛵️ No sand, no stress
No parking stress, no sand stuck to your towel, no noisy neighbours.

✨As a bonus: dolphins, fish, turtles, sea life, and the calm of being surrounded by water.

Once you experience it, you’ll never see travel the same way again. 🌅

Have you ever been on a boat trip?

My thoughts after visiting Milan’s new trendy spa – De Montel demonteltermemilano

This new thermal space is a beautifully slow, aesthetic escape.

I visited during the week (highly recommend!), as I imagine weekends get a bit crowded - naturally, Milanese people love their moments of relaxation too.😉

→ What I loved most were the wellness rituals:

the Aufguss ceremony, Meditation Sound Bath, and Russian Banya - each one a unique, immersive experience that left me completely recharged. 🫶

The outdoor area is also very nice, with plenty of sunbeds to relax under the sun. ☀️

A few small things to keep in mind:

– There are underwater steps when entering the pool - just something to be aware of. In my opinion, not very comfortable.

– The water has a distinct, natural aroma, part of its original character- the thermal water comes from 396 meters underground.

– The buffet option for lunch was good quality - though strangely, coffee isn’t included, and the free refill wasn’t the best. 😅

That being said, the space is definitely worth a visit.

Again, make sure to take part in the sauna experiences - they’re included in the entry price and absolutely worth it!

Let me know if you’re planning to go, or if you’ve already been.

A day at QC Terme San Pellegrino - this is how it felt 👇

☆ Lunch buffet – really good quality: 10/10

☆ Aperitivo – offered to everyone, nice gesture but felt a bit underwhelming after lunch: 7/10

☆ Wellness spaces – there are plenty of them and i guess to explore everything you’ll need more than a day: 10/10

☆ Ambience & beauty – absolutely breathtaking: 20/10.

☆ Service – thoughtful, seamless: 10/10

But here’s the truth:

If you're looking for quiet relaxation day, this might not be it - especially on weekends. In Italy, spa culture tends to be more social, not silent. By this I mean chatting in saunas and crowded pools.

But still… the views, the architecture, the feeling—it’s unforgettable. I've visited a few QC Terme locations, but San Pellegrino is easily the most beautiful.

Save this for your next relax day in Italy 🇮🇹

👇 How to anticipate summer with a trip to the Caribbean: here are a few tips from my recent travel

📌 Several countries are located in the Caribbean Sea. From Europe, one of the easiest ways to get there is by flying to Martinique or Guadeloupe, which are French-speaking islands and part of the EU.

📌 There are daily direct flights from Paris to Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe or Fort-de-France in Martinique. EU citizens can travel there with just their ID.

📌 The currency is the Euro, and my Italian SIM card worked fine. For other Caribbean islands, you can buy an eSIM—my Holafly eSIM mostly worked well.

📌 The best time to visit the Caribbean is during the dry season from mid-December to mid-April. It was such a pleasant weather—temperatures were consistently 27-29°C 🏝

📌 The sun is very strong near the equator, so sunscreen is highly recommended to prevent burns - tip from my own experience 🥵

📌 A must-do activity is snorkeling! In Guadeloupe, visit the Jacques Cousteau Reserve, where you’ll find amazing coral reefs and marine life. 🐢 and sea turtles are easy to spot on almost every island!

📌 I also visited Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, and the Grenadines on a catamaran trip. Since these are different countries, a passport was required for customs. And the currency is Carribean dollars, but some also accepted Euros.

📌 With catamaran you can visit really remote spots but be ready for long navigation distances. This was my 2nd boat trip after Greece and I really felt the difference in distances.

📌 Must-try experiences:

- Watch the sunset sink into the ocean and spot the green flash at sunset.

- Visit “Pirates of the Caribbean” filming locations and feel like a Jack Sparrow or Elisabeth Swann✨

- Snorkel with sea turtles🐢

- Buy fresh fish and lobsters from local fishermen 🐠

- Eat local bananas, platano, guava, mango, papaya, coconut and other tropical fruits fruit 🥭

I am actually going to use this list myself on my next trip to Venice ✨

1. Ca’ Pesaro – Home to the International Gallery of Modern Art and the Museum of Oriental Art.

2. Palazzo Vendramin (Ca’ Vendramin Calergi) – Now hosts the Venice Casino, with a rich history connected to doges and composer Richard Wagner.

3. Ca’ d’Oro – A stunning example of Venetian Gothic architecture, housing the Giorgio Franchetti Gallery.

4. Palazzo Grassi – An 18th-century palace now showcasing contemporary art from the François Pinault Collection.

5. Ca’ Rezzonico – Museum of 18th Century Venice, featuring grand ballrooms and masterpieces by Venetian artists.

6. Ca’ Foscari – Gothic palace and home to one of the oldest universities, with breathtaking views over the Grand Canal.

7. Palazzo Mocenigo – A museum dedicated to the history of Venetian fashion and perfume.

8. Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo – Famous for its unique spiral staircase (Scala Contarini del Bovolo) with panoramic city views.

9. Palazzo Fontego dei Turchi – A medieval building now housing the Natural History Museum of Venice.

10. Palazzo Fortuny – Former residence of artist Mariano Fortuny, now a museum showcasing eclectic art collections.

Has anyone visited any of these palaces before and have recommendations?
