Chicken Shop Date: 10 Years of an Idea is a two-day pop up event in London celebrating the decade long journey of the show, with the aim to inspire the next set of young creatives.

![As many of you know, the idea for chickenshopdate started at a youth club. Youth services are so important and it’s always been a passion of mine to create opportunities for young people and help level the playing field.
This month we held the first ever dimzinc Academy, in collaboration with spiralskills. A free, week-long programme for young people who want to get into the creative industry but don’t know where to start.
From shadowing the chickenshopdate crew to producing and editing their own ideas, they built original formats in just five days.
Here’s the week in their own words, filmed and edited by the students themselves !!
