Introvert tips to recharging batteries after social events Being social can be fun and fulfilling, but for introverts it often drains energy instead of fueling it. If you feel wiped out after a gathering, it’s ok and you don’t have to push through the exhaustion. As I’ve been photographing weddings and events for many years, here are some simple ways I recommend to recharge your batteries 🤫Give yourself quiet time and block off an hour (or more) with no talking, no obligations, just you. 📖Do a comfort activity like reading, journaling, watching your favorite show, or doing something creative that soothes your mind. 🌳Ground yourself in nature…a short walk, sitting in the park, or even tending to plants can help reset your energy. ❌ Set boundaries for the next event: plan breaks, drive separately, or set a leave-by time so you don’t get overly drained. 👂Listen to your body. It’s okay to rest without guilt. Recovery is part of showing up fully next time. Introverts recharge differently, and that’s perfectly okay.
