- Every morning, one question haunts parents: “What do I pack today?” 😫🍱 I struggled too — until I built a 5-day school tiffin rhythm that made my mornings calmer, my daughter’s lunchbox more balanced, and most importantly → she finishes her food! ✅ Instead of deciding from scratch every day, I stick to a weekly rhythm: fermented foods, shallow-fried bites, oven-baked/pancakes, sprouted dishes, and a Friday treat. ➡️ The result? Variety + balance, without the stress. Earlier, Ohana carried only 2 tiffins. Now she takes 3 every day → 1️⃣ Snack 1: from the menu in this post + fruit 2️⃣ Lunch: roti–sabzi–salad OR one-dish meals like egg rice, chicken rice, pulao, biryani 3️⃣ Snack 2: light — a fruit that stays well (banana, guava) + something to munch (makhana, puffed rice, khakhra, or a fun snack she loves) For me, one non-negotiable is protein. Whether from her tiffin, breakfast, or dinner, I ensure she gets enough through real food — eggs, chicken, prawns, fish, or paneer on vegetarian days. 💡 I truly believe a child’s nutrition should come from food, not shortcuts, because food carries the micronutrients their body needs. 💾 Save this post for your next week’s tiffin planning ↗️ Share with a parent who struggles with lunchbox ideas ❤️ Like if this made your mornings easier 💬 Comment your child’s favourite tiffin snack 👉 Follow abhilasha_nurtures for real, practical school tiffin ideas
