![there were three things we valued the most when planning our wedding - the venue, the guest experience, and the food and drinks 🍸experiencing amazing food is our favourite thing to do together and we wanted to share that experience with our loved ones.
maisonmirabeau was a clear choice for us when choosing a wedding wine. after many summers in the south of france we knew we wanted a provence rose and mirabeau is our forever favourite (gifted 🤍)
we chose sharing plates so dishes could be passed around, wine bottles poured freely, and stories exchanged across the table.
with minimal decor, we wanted the food to be bright and colourful to bring the table to life! starting from canapés, cocktails and throughout the dinner each dish was presented beautifully thanks to by.melissanassif and her amazing team 🤍
most people said that dinner was their favourite part of the evening so we did our job!

![the largest dinner party i’ve ever had the pleasure of hosting 🥂 for this tablescape, my vision was simplicity with a transformative, interactive element woven into the dining experience.
we began with the table completely bare. only rows of empty champagne glasses placed in the center. as the sun set, the glass caught the fading light beautifully. then, our incredible wait staff filled each glass one by one, creating the most magical, photoworthy moment as the table shifted in color with the golden reflections of champagne.
with no additional décor, the focus remained entirely on the food and drink as the stars of the evening. when guests took their seats, they each collected a glass for the first toast, transforming the table once again before the arrival of the meal.
you know how much i love using food as a styling tool, so I can’t wait to show you what we served soon. a huge thank you to by.melissanassif and jasminandpeonies for trusting my vision, this idea was not an easy one to bring to life, but it was unforgettable 🤍

![moments before walking down the aisle 🦢 my dress was from new zealand designer heracouture so it meant i had a piece of home with me in france. for my something old i wore my grandmother’s engraved wedding band from 1962, and my mum’s blue ring was carefully stitched into my dress as my something blue.
our something borrowed was lace from max’s grandmother’s wedding dress, draped across the cake table, and my something new was my shoes 🤍
