& we have the Mumbai Local! 🥲😅

One of the first things you’ll notice in Japan is how silent the trains are 🚆. Even during rush hour, with hundreds of people packed into a carriage, you won’t hear loud phone calls or noisy groups chatting away.

This isn’t because there’s a law against it — it’s because of Japanese etiquette. The idea is simple: don’t cause meiwaku (trouble) to others. In a country where most people use trains daily to commute, study, or even nap, keeping the space quiet is a way of showing respect.

Rail companies even remind passengers to switch phones to “manner mode” 📱 and avoid talking loudly. Over time, it’s become such a strong social norm that silence feels like a rule.

So the next time you’re in Japan, try it out — sit back, enjoy the calm, and you’ll understand why quiet trains are such a unique part of Japanese culture 🌸. 2025-10-02 12:26:11 .. 299 -98% 3 -98%
Who would you go with???🧐

I just cracked the code to mamadiam.prinsep which is a cool speakeasy tucked behind a bookshelf in a traditional “Mama Diam”. When I opened up the bookshelf to reveal this place, it felt like a scene from a spy movie! 🕵️‍♀️

A Mama Shop (Mama Diam) is an old-school, nostalgic convenience store found under Singapore’s HDB blocks. This bar pays homage to that heritage but turns it into a speakeasy—a legal modern bar designed to feel secretive, with a hidden entrance🚪📚

They turn local Singaporean flavours into mind-blowing modern cocktails and food. Think Curry Chicken Cupcakes and classic drinks with a modern twist!!

📍38 Prinsep Street, Singapore (Nearest MRT: Dhoby Ghaut)
⏰ 4:00 PM onwards daily. (Happy Hour is often 4pm-6pm!)
Have you ever found a speakeasy this cool? Let me know below! 👇

Did you know?😱😳

When you think of Japan, you probably imagine robots, sushi trains, or neon lights.
But the real surprise is right under your feet.

Japan has over 12 million manhole covers, and thousands of them are decorated with unique designs. 🌸 From Mt. Fuji to local flowers, mascots, Pokémon, and even glowing covers at night — each one tells a story. Cities use them to show off their history, nature, or culture. Some towns even host manhole cover festivals, and yes… there are trading cards for them too!

But here’s the part that really hit me: this isn’t about tourism. It’s about respect.
In Japan, no job is considered “low” or “dirty.” Even the workers who deal with sewage are shown dignity through design. And this respect extends beyond manholes. If you’ve ever taken the bullet train, you’ll know about the train cleaning teams who finish their work in 7 minutes — and they’re treated like performers, with passengers applauding their speed and precision.

This is the cultural thread — pride in every kind of work, no matter how hidden or humble. By turning something ordinary into art or ritual, people notice it, appreciate it, and treat it with care.

Imagine if we did this everywhere. If our cities celebrated the people who keep them running. Maybe we’d respect workers more, and maybe we’d all keep our streets cleaner.

So next time you’re in Japan, don’t just look up at the lights. Look down. You might just find art — and a lesson in respect. 2025-09-30 14:24:14 .. 1,897 -85% 13 -92%

Here’s what I learned the hard way:

🥶 The wind is no joke. Pack a REAL windproof jacket. Mine is from Columbia Sportswear and oh god it SAVED ME.

🚙 Go beyond the Ring Road. The Highlands are where the magic is!

💸 Parking fines are brutal. Don’t be like me, lol! They have QR codes in all parking spots, pls don’t forget to pay even if ur just going to the toilet!

But my BIGGEST win? Booking my flights using skyscanner.india!🙌

Honestly, this is the #1 travel hack for me. Instead of a single airline ticket for a crazy ₹58,000, skyscanner.india worked its magic and combined two different airlines, finding YOU flights for just ₹35,000!🔥

So you can save ₹23,000 before the trip even starts!!😉

What’s your craziest saving using skyscanner.india? Tell me in the comments.

Please cancel your tickets to Bali & Thailand!

You can make your Philippines trip 10X better - here’s how (and most people miss these things👀):

[Collab]

🏝️ Instead of Cebu City, stay in Moalboal - it’s a backpacker’s dream with SO MANY hostels, cheap food, dive shops, and close to all the main Cebu attractions.

🛵 Getting around is pretty affordable: scooters ~$7/₹600 a day, and a rental car for a full day will only cost ~$72/₹6K.

💸 Most waterfalls have a small entry fee (around $1.5/₹150), so keep some cash handy.

🥗 7/11s are everywhere - hot meals, snacks, even vegan/vegetarian options, perfect if you’re on a budget!

💧Carry Liquid I.V. with you! Trust me, the Philippines is already hitting 30°C+ with 80% humidity, and you’ll get dehydrated way faster than you think. This is the same reason I always used to feel sick by day 3 of my trips. Learned my lesson, and now I never travel to such places without Liquid I.V.

⛵ Lastly, when you go to Coron, make sure to splurge on a boat trip! I did a 4-day Coron-Coron Tour with Big Dream Boat Man, where we covered caves, waterfalls, private islands, and made memories that I’ll never forget.

(expensive but 100% worth every penny).

Philippines can be super fun if you plan it right and stay hydrated!

What’s your biggest travel lesson? ✈️🌍

Welcome to the University of Travel — where every journey is a brand-new class!

After visiting 40+ countries, I’ve picked up more lessons than I can count. Some are simple — like staying curious and open-minded — and others are deeper, reshaping how I see life, people, and even myself.

For me, travel is pure transformation. It’s not just about the aesthetic pics or OOTDs; it’s about becoming a kinder, wiser version of yourself.

Drop your own lessons in the comments — let’s make this a real classroom of experiences. 🌟

Who would you go with?

Iceland is unreal! One moment you’re standing by a giant waterfall, the next you’re walking on black sand or cruising past volcanoes. Every corner feels like a new world. But the best part? Experiencing all that madness with friends who make the long drives, random stops, and crazy winds way more fun. Iceland hits different when you’ve got the right people with you. 🌍✨

Easily one of the best trips I’ve taken, a road trip that felt like pure adventure from start to finish.

You can do Singapore without breaking the bank - here’s how 👇

#ad

⚡ Free stuff > Paid stuff
Why spend $80+ when hikes like Southern Ridges cost nothing?

⚡ Claim your GST refund
Shop at “Tax Free” stores, keep receipts, and use the e-TRS kiosks at the airport to get up to 9% back.

⚡ Hunt hotel deals smartly
On skyscanner, just sort by price, tick free cancellation, and compare sites - I booked INR8,000/night hotels for INR5,000.

⚡ Eat like a local
Head to Tiong Bahru Market - Michelin-starred hawker meals under $5 (₹300) beat a $40 tourist plate any day.

⚡ Bike, don’t cab
City bikes cost only SGD1 (~₹62) for 30 mins. Cheaper, healthier, and lets you see way more.⚡ EZ-Link > taxis

Grab a MetroCard. MRT is clean, fast, and saves you from traffic + surge pricing.

👉 Singapore isn’t “too expensive” if you play it smart.

Tag your travel buddy for a budget-friendly adventure ✈️

If I could give you only ONE tip for Iceland, it would be this: read the epicicelandnet blog before you go.

Here’s why 👇
Most people just do the Ring Road — it’s simple, one big circle, and yes you’ll see the “famous” waterfalls and black sand beach. But it’s also crowded, touristy, and honestly? Just scratching the surface.

The real magic of Iceland is in the Highlands — where you need to take remote F-roads, cross rivers, and plan around unpredictable weather. And that’s the part nobody warns you about.

Planning the Highlands means figuring out:
🚙 Which F-roads are open (and which need a 4x4)
⛽ Where to stop for groceries or fuel before you’re stranded
🌧 How to plan each day because weather can change everything
🗺 Which hidden trails or hot springs are worth the detour

That’s where the blog came in. It’s not just a “top 10 waterfalls” list — it maps out every F-road, hot spring, hiking trail, and even hidden local detours. Honestly, it was the only way we could pull off our trip. And the crazy part? All this info is free.

So yeah — if you’re planning Iceland, don’t just stop at the Ring Road. Use this blog, dive into the Highlands, and you’ll experience a side of Iceland most tourists miss.

Would you rather stick to the easy loop, or discover the raw, hidden Iceland?

🚨 SAVE THIS before your next trip 🚨

[collab]

You might THINK that I’m always rushing through security, catching a flight, or sprinting for that sunset shot… but really? I’m just slipping in. 👟✨

Because when you travel, every second counts. And while everyone else is bending, untying, retying - I’m already halfway to my gate.

You know how? All thanks to skechers Slip-ins.

The real MVP. Zero hands. Zero hassle. Perfect for airport checks, hostel dorms, road trips, or “exploring all day” city walks. Feet swell on flights? No problem. They flex with you - comfort without the squeeze. Stylish enough to wear straight from plane to photos to dinners!

And because travel is a logistics game, here’s what I pair them with:

📸 Bendy tripod + Bluetooth remote (hello, epic solo shots)

🔌 Portable charger + universal adapter (stay powered up, always)

🧳 Compressible packing cubes (organization = sanity)

But truth? All the hacks in the world don’t hit the same unless you’ve got the right shoes. Slip-ins = freedom, comfort, and low-key style in one move.

Tag your travel buddy who NEEDS a shoe upgrade before their next trip. ✈️

Iceland never fails to surprise me omg!

This is - Sigöldugljúfur Canyon!!!

It looks straight out of a fantasy film - yet barely anyone goes here.

Drive to Sigöldufoss (2 hrs from Reykjavík), then follow the F208 highland road until the hidden trail appears — a short walk opens up into this unreal, empty canyon of turquoise waterfalls and mossy cliffs.

Comment the city that feels like home to you!

#Ad

I haven’t been back in a while. And I didn’t think it would hit me like this.

But the moment I walked through those familiar lanes of Delhi, it was like muscle memory.

The shortcuts I used to take. The corners where I’d stop for no reason. The exact spot where a million plans were made and cancelled.

I’ve travelled a lot since then - 45+ countries, constantly on the move. But this city? It holds an entire phase of my life. The college years. The broke years. The figuring-it-out years.

And coming back felt like someone quietly pressed play on memories I didn’t even know I remembered.

This time I carried the #vivoX200FE with me - just to hold on to a few of those moments properly.

The 85mm portrait mode captured the people who still feel like home.

And the 24mm wide-angle helped me fit in all the little street moments I wanted to freeze.

It’s light, fits in my sling, and kind of just…moved with me.

While I moved through old places that still knew me.
