—3 simple tips make a huge difference in my routine and help so much with staying disciplined. 

Buy groceries that align with your goals. I understand everyone’s circumstances are different, and many people have children, etc. But I would even suggest getting in the habit of setting the example for them too, their food doesn’t necessarily have to be separate from yours. The way I see it, they should be eating healthy too 🤷🏾‍♀️ and it’s way easier when you start them young. 

Bear in mind—because many of you love to project your habits and what doesn’t work for *you* onto people on the internet—these are things EYEEEE do that work for me. I understand there may be some of you who don’t have the time to prep rice as you go, and it should go without saying: that is totally fine 🙂 I only do this because I KNOW myself and I KNOW I overeat rice, even if I prep a bunch ahead of time and measure it out, I’ll just get up and get more. But if I only make a 1/4c of rice, that’s it! I don’t have the patience to boil water all over again and make more, this helps me tremendously. 🙂‍↕️ 

Sigh. Eating out is treated too casually, and that’s a big reason why there are so many people who struggle with their goals, because they treat their goals casually as well. Eating out is an occasion or a treat, not a necessity and shouldn’t be treated as a regularity. I can’t stress enough how big of a difference you’d see in your physique if you were more disciplined and ate at home more than you eat out.

—Never thought the day would come but it finally did..all my cars in the past have been given to me by my parents and older (still grateful). And while the idea of buying my first car felt distressing to say the least, on the flip side I can’t express the gratitude I have to be able to even afford a purchase like this. 🥹 My lil 2006 shordy really held it down for me while she could. I was almost emotional letting her go, I rode her through my saddest and brokest seasons up until now. We’ve been through it all. 🥹 

Allllll of my closest friends (bless their hearts), knew the secret & not-so-secret battles I’ve fought with my old car over the years. 😹 I put off buying a car for the past 6yrs. I stayed patient and I never truly felt like I was “ready” for a new car, but life (and my old car) had other plans. If there’s one thing entrepreneurship has taught me, is delayed gratification will almost always be rewarded a lot bigger and better than you planned or expected, and I was blessed to pull off the lot with a brand new 2025 car. ✨

Aside from a new car, what a gift it is to wake up everyday and feel like I’m truly living in my purpose, what a gift it is to get to do exactly what I love every single day — even on the days I don’t feel like showing up or doing a damn thing, and even then I’ll still show up anyway because of how life continues to reward me even through whatever secret adversities. 

My cup is very full, and I am very grateful. I truly would not be able to do the things I do without the support of those of you who CHOOSE to follow me, support me and uplift me. The HARD work and lack of sleep is always worth it because of you guys and how you continuously show up for me as well. I actually cry any time I write or talk about how grateful I am (LOL what a puss—jk but I really do cry) but seriously, you all are my greatest gift, and I sincerely thank you. 💕
