Rainy weekend in London.
Walks with coffee in Hampstead Garden Suburb followed by a visit to Kenwood House.

They have a lovely exhibition until the 6th of October - HEIRESS: SARGENT’S AMERICAN PORTRAITS. We did not manage to make it there as many others also though it was a good idea on a rainy day and it got full quickly. Love Sargent’s paintings and hope i will still be able to squeeze it in my non stop schedule before it is over.

Last week I spent the day celebrating The Real Flower Company’s 30th anniversary at their beautiful Hampshire farm. therealflowerco
I made a bouquet that was probably the most fragrant I have ever held, the roses smelled absolutely incredible.
It was such a treat to meet Rosebie Morton (founder), hear her inspiring story, wander the cutting gardens where these gorgeous flowers grow, and finish the day with an intimate lunch at her home while the rain poured outside.
If you would like to experience their magic yourself, The Real Flower Company hosts flower-arranging workshops and classes in London, and you can also find their blooms at their London shops:
• 66 New Kings Road, SW6 (Chelsea)
• 3 Swain’s Lane, N6 (Highgate)

A sail on the Albatros is a beautiful way to see Lake Windermere from the water.
This restored 1920s launch glides past tree lined shores and quiet bays, offering views of the fells you can’t catch from land.
You do not have to be staying at Langdale Chase to book the trip, it can be enjoyed as a standalone experience, and it pairs perfectly with lunch on the hotel’s lakeside terrace.

Let me introduce you to langdalechase .
Nestled on the shores of Lake Windermere, this reimagined manor house reopened in autumn 2023 after a full refurbishment. Originally built in the 1950s, it has been transformed into a refined New England style retreat with breathtaking views of the lake, elegant gardens, and beautifully designed interiors.
The restaurant terrace is absolutely fantastic, and their 2 AA Rosette restaurant makes every meal feel special, all set against those incredible lake views. The whole atmosphere is calm and so relaxing, a stay that shows exactly why this has become one of the most sought-after escapes in the Lake District.

The hotel also offers cruises on the Albatros, a beautifully restored 1920s boat that takes you across Lake Windermere, i will talk more in detail about this in the coming days.

Happy Sunday!
A few video postcards from my recent trip to the Lake District.
Such a magical corner of England, though I happened to visit during a heatwave, so instead of the usual misty, moody vibes it felt more like the Mediterranean with sunshine all around. 2025-09-07 15:50:17 Happy Sunday! A few video.. 452 +20% 67 +14%

The final experience I would like to share from my stay at thyme.england is the cooking class.
Our teacher was Marj, a MasterChef winner, who guided us through their flagship class The Instinctive Cook. We started with a tour of the kitchen garden before pickling courgettes, making fresh pasta and the best pesto I have ever had (from now on, only homemade!).

The visit to the vegetable garden tied it all together and made the day even more special. Marj was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and inspiring.

Sharing this on the last day of August — holding on to a little bit more summer colour.

A mini photo series from my recent idyllic stay at Thyme.
Set across a stunning 150-acre estate in Southrop, Cotswolds. Thyme’s winding paths connect restored cottages, barns, and a Georgian rectory.
Once a cookery school, Thyme has blossomed into a boutique hotel.
Everything at Thyme is inspired by nature, from the food to the fragrances, and it makes the entire stay feel grounded and restorative.
I absolutely loved the scent of bertioli.by.thyme , the Water Meadow toiletries felt like capturing the landscape in a bottle.
Swimming in the heated pool, a long relaxing bath in our room, and a candlelit dinner made the whole experience even more special.

A couple of weeks ago my dream finally came true , I visited thyme.england .
We stayed in the Garden room, ours was called “Forget Me Not,” came with the most gorgeous open bathtub and a small private garden. Visiting on a hot summer’s day, the heated outdoor pool was a real highlight, and the soft green spa felt like the perfect countryside escape.
It was such a special stay , thank you curatedspacesclub for making it happen. More to come soon, as I’ll be sharing my full Thyme experience in detail on here and you will also be able to see it on www.curatedspaces.club 2025-08-26 14:37:08 A couple of weeks.. 618 +64% 78 +33%
Last week we dined at Pétrus by Gordon Ramsay, a restaurant that has proudly held its Michelin star for years. Known for its modern European flavours and an incredible wine list including a remarkable collection of Château Pétrus wines. The attention to detail is breathtaking, from the delicate presentation to the perfectly balanced flavours. Almost too beautiful to eat… almost.

One for the seafood lovers! Few days ago I finally made it to holborndiningroom at rosewoodlondon to check out their new Seafood Counter, created in collaboration with Faber faberrestaurants . We sat right at the counter surrounded by the freshest lobsters, oysters and crabs.

We ordered a mix of dishes from the à la carte and the Faber menu: the crab sandwich (huge and so delicious!) and prawns with garlic and parsley that were just stunning. If you love seafood, there’s also a Faber tasting menu taking guests on a journey through the flavours of the British coastline.

Such a treat for anyone who appreciates really good British produce. 2025-08-03 21:13:02 One for the seafood lo.. 166 -56% 40 -32%
A weekend of royal elegance at Hartwell House, a National Trust hotel and part of pobhotels, a hand-picked collection of Britain’s most charming places to stay.
Once home to the exiled Queen of France, now the perfect countryside escape with historic suites, a spa, parkland walks and timeless charm.

Last weekend we escaped to Hartwell House hartwellhouse a beautiful National Trust hotel and part of pobhotelsuk. Full of fascinating history, it was once the home of the exiled King Louis XVIII of France, and our suite was actually the former room of Queen Marie Joséphine of Savoy.

The interiors feel regal and timeless, yet so welcoming, and there’s also a lovely spa to unwind in. The house is surrounded by 90 acres of National Trust parkland, perfect for peaceful countryside walks. In the evening we had a lovely candlelit dinner followed by quiet tea time by the fireplace in one of the sitting rooms. The whole stay felt incredibly special.

These gardens were once the pride and passion of Rosemary Verey, one of Britain’s most loved garden designers and a pioneer of the romantic English country garden style. She created these grounds as her own living canvas, combining formal borders with wild corners, hidden pathways, and a famous potager kitchen garden that inspired everyone from Prince Charles to Elton John.

Today, this magical place is The Pig in the Cotswolds, a hotel that keeps her gardening spirit alive. Like every Pig hotel, there’s still a productive vegetable garden feeding the kitchen, making it the perfect spot for a countryside lunch or a peaceful stay surrounded by flowers and homegrown produce.

A special night at Raffles London at The OWO trying Chef Mauro Colagreco’s seasonal five-course tasting menu. Each course came with a little postcard of the vegetable it was inspired by, a nice touch that ties back to Mauro’s focus on local, seasonal produce. Even the cheeses in the cheese course were all British, in line with his ethos of supporting local producers.

The wine pairing was spot on, and next week the menu switches to a new Tomato Menu to make the most of peak summer.

We ended the evening with a visit to The Spy Bar, photos aren’t allowed, but imagine pure 007 energy (plus an actual Aston Martin parked inside). The Fig Noir, their take on a sweet Manhattan, was probably the best whisky cocktail I’ve had in a while.

Last week i visited Bath and stayed at The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa royalcrescent_hotel one of the stunning hotels in the pobhotelsuk collection. Hotel is right in the city centre but it felt like a hidden garden retreat. The gardens are such a big part of it, especially in summer, and the spa makes it feel like a little escape even though you’re steps from Bath’s beautiful Georgian streets. Hard to believe you are in the middle of a historic city when you are sitting in that garden with a cup of tea. The food was just as lovely, fine dining that felt relaxed but special, and we ended the day with a really nice romantic dinner. 2025-07-19 14:29:19 Last week i visited B.. 257 -32% 59 +1%

Such a joy to be back at one of my favourite countryside escapes just outside London, Coworth Park’s beautiful lawns and gardens never disappoint! This time I finally gave croquet a proper try (I’m no natural, but it was so much fun and there were plenty of giggles). Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at TIDE, the new summer terrace by Michelin-starred Executive Chef Adam Smith. Fresh, varied, and perfectly paired with refreshing Rathfinny bubbles, ideal for a sunny afternoon surrounded by roses and wildflower meadows. The perfect place to spend a summer’s day in the countryside!
