The First Airfryer restaurant in London? I had the opportunity to go to this pop up! Where the whole menu was cooked using refurbished airfryers in collaboration with EBay and Nathan Anthony who curated 12 small plates. For starters there was: Crispy and Salt Pepper Squid 🦑 Nduja Stuffed Arancini Balls Halloumi Fries with a Sweet and Spicy Mayo 🧀 Roasted Cauliflower Salad with Coconut Yoghurt, Lemon, Pomegranate and Cashew Miso Dressing 🥗 For Mains: Aglio e Olio Chicken Wings 🐔 Lamb Chops with a Mint Sauce 🐑 Steak Tacos with Avocado Cream 🐮🥑 Miso Glazed Aubergine 🍆 For Sides: Green Salad- Rocket, Watercress, Apple, Fellen, Dill and Coriander 🥗 Sweetcorn Ribs with Feta and Spicy Almond Sauce 🌽 Truffle Fries 🍄🍟 For dessert: Peaches with Ice Cream with Honey Pistachios 🍑 🍨 Chocolate Creme Puffs 🍫 Banana and Chocolate Crepe Bites with a S’more dip 🍌 🍫 Overall really enjoyed the pop up and the food and cocktails, I feel like it has really opened my eyes to the possibilities that you can make alot of things in the airfryer, I guess I have to start using my airfryer a lot more 😅 2023-11-01 18:40:58 .. 32 -37% 5 -2%
A little throwback to the Jongga Flavorverse Pop up in Covent Garden I went a few weeks ago, you had the opportunity to learn about the history of Jongga Kimchi and its health benefits, the pop up had different rooms, all which you can try a Kimchi infused cocktail (which I forgot to take a photo of 🙊) and some food, I decided to try the kimchi sweetcorn taco 🌮 and smoked short rib and kimchi slaw in a beef fat bun 🐮 there is also a pop up store where you can buy all the products to try and take home 🥬 2023-11-01 17:12:31 A little thro.. 0 -100% 4 -22%
One of the best dimsum places in London you need to try! 🇬🇧 If your looking for authentic dimsum place you need to check out dimsumandduck 🥰 Everything about the food is so fresh and delicious, the portion sizes are really generous! 🥰 Each dish comes out fast and piping hot! 🐰 Miffy Pop up in London 🐰 The Miffy Pop up in London has finally arrived in Chinatown, the cutest pop up ever! 🥹 I had the chance to go yesterday to check it out, luckily there wasn’t really a queue and did not have to wait ages to get in 😁 the pop up is in celebration to mark the Year of the Rabbit 🐰 it features limited edition merch that has not been sold in the UK before and they also sell jewellery from Licensed to Charm 🥰 there are many different colour Miffy plushies to choose from and it was so difficult to not take every single one of them 😅 The pop up is open till the 3rd July, so if you haven’t made a visit, there is still plenty of time 😊 📍Chinatown 2023-04-07 21:44:53 .. 79 +55% 3 -41%
Netflix Wednesday Pop Up A really late post 😅 but I thought I’ll share my experience from last year that I actually queued for like more than 3 hours and on the very last day of the pop up and managed to get in! 🥹 The pop up features different members that are dressed up as part of the Addams family characters. The top London bakery you need to visit! 🇬🇧 If you are on the look out for the best pastries! you definitely need to check out Arome a charming little bakery in the heart of London! from the moment you step inside! You’re hit with the aroma freshly baked goodies 🥰 Their pastries are truly something else 🥹 whether your in the mood just for a croissant they have a great selection of different pastries to choose from! I recently visit the Benefit POREfessional Pore Wash Pop up in London 🧼🇬🇧 the pop up is to celebrate Benefit Cosmetics new skincare launch, the whole experience was fun and interactive, it also allowed me the chance to test out the new products and the staff were friendly and knowledge and they were able to answer all of my questions about the products and even gave me some great skincare tips too! 📍 Medsalleh Kopitiam Bayswater Stumbled across this place as I was trying to find a place to try out Malaysian Food. 36 Streets 📍 Kingston Rarely have a weekend off due to work! But decided to have a stroll around the streets of Kingston and stumbled across this place after a long day of shopping and it was pouring outside! What I ordered: - Canh Ga Chien (Fried Chicken Wings) 🐔 - Pho Bo (Beef Pho) 🐮 - Bun Hue (Beef Hue) 🐮 The only thing that took me by surprise is the fried chicken wings! The Eight 📍 Shaftesbury Avenue Recently got to try out this Hong Kong style menu on Shaftesbury Avenue, on this occasion I did went twice cause I wanted to try out every dish they offered on the menu, they had a large menu 😅 but also it reminded me of the memories when I travelled back to Hong Kong as well! 🇭🇰 I ended up ordering 🍛 Volcano Egg Seafood Nanyang Curry on Rice 🍞 Salted Egg Toast 🍫 Coco Milk Toast 🍜 Beef Brisket Noodle Soup 🍚 The Eight Signature BBQ Rice 🍝 Lo Mein Noodles with Roasted Duck 🍽 The Eight Special Mixed Hor D’ocuvres 🥭 Mango Pomelo Sago ☕️ HK Style Milk Tea 🍋 HK Style Lemon Tea Throughly enjoyed everything! 🇹🇭 Speedboat Bar 🇹🇭 📍 30 Rupert Street, W1D 6DL A new Thai restaurant has just opened in London inspired by the dishes from Bangkok Chinatown which brings you straight to Yaowarat road, had the opportunity to check out this restaurant when they had their 50% soft launch opening and managed to secure a reservation!🥰 Decided to try a few dishes while I was there, but the Beef Tongue and Tendon curry took me by surprise as the curry was flavourful while it had a slight kick and honestly it was so tender that it melts in your mouth 🤤 Also had to get the Tom Yam Mama noodles with squid, pork and prawns, the seafood was fresh and the soup was fragrant, but did think it was quite pricey considering for what it is The Naem Fried Rice, to be honest I didn’t have much of an expectation as I thought it will just like any other fried rice I had, but will admit I was so wrong about that 😅 it was just that good and really like how it came with the chillies on the side! A new Chinese noodle restaurant has just opened in the heart of Chinatown! 🇬🇧 Kung Fu Noodles specialises in hand pulled noodles and dishes from the Gansu province in the North West of China 🇨🇳 I had to the get the Spicy Lanzhou beef noodle soup, it’s topped tender slices of beef, radish and finished off with chilli oil, definitely wasn’t spicy, but the broth was still flavourful, the noodles were chewy and springy and they were cooked perfectly. 🇭🇰 Hoko Cafe 🇭🇰 📍 224 Brick Lane, E1 6SA A new Hong Kong cafe has just opened in London just by Brick Lane for two months 🇬🇧 this cafe reminded me so much like how I was back home 🇭🇰 I visited on the second day, luckily there wasn't any queue. Hoko serves classic Hong Kong dishes,snacks and drinks. I got the Lemon tea and Hong Kong Peanut Butter French Toast! Everything tasted authentic! 🥰 really enjoyed the French toast, as it was not too sweet, there was a generous amount of filling inside, the toast was soft and on the outside it was crispy! 📍Bao Noodle Shop, Shoreditch 💷: ££ ⭐️ 4/5 It’s been my third time going to Bao but have never the visited the noodle shop, I went for their Taipei Style noodles with slow cooked beef cheek and short rib with cured yolk, can say for sure the beef was tender and melted in your mouth, I only felt like the broth could have been richer as that would have brought more flavour out. I also had to try the peanut milk, I was blown by surprise how rich and creamy it was and it has a subtle hint of vanilla, this drink was so refreshing. Pokémon Center 2022 Got the chance to visit the Pokémon Center in London this year, after the last pop up was back in 2019, luckily there was not any queue this time considering I did not book a reservation as they all sold out 🥹 I went straight in without any issues 🥲 I managed to pick up a few things, but some of the exclusives merchandise were already sold out when I got there 😢 wish I was able to get my hands on those plushies 😬 The pop up runs from 18th August till 21st August 2022-08-21 15:26:23 Pokémon Cen.. 23 -55% 3 -41%
