- The Eight 📍 Shaftesbury Avenue Recently got to try out this Hong Kong style menu on Shaftesbury Avenue, on this occasion I did went twice cause I wanted to try out every dish they offered on the menu, they had a large menu 😅 but also it reminded me of the memories when I travelled back to Hong Kong as well! 🇭🇰 I ended up ordering 🍛 Volcano Egg Seafood Nanyang Curry on Rice 🍞 Salted Egg Toast 🍫 Coco Milk Toast 🍜 Beef Brisket Noodle Soup 🍚 The Eight Signature BBQ Rice 🍝 Lo Mein Noodles with Roasted Duck 🍽 The Eight Special Mixed Hor D’ocuvres 🥭 Mango Pomelo Sago ☕️ HK Style Milk Tea 🍋 HK Style Lemon Tea Throughly enjoyed everything! But highly recommend the salted egg toast and the volcano egg seafood curry rice 🥰 The toast had this rich salted egg lava inside but was also so crispy on the outside, it was so soft and honestly just felt like it melts in your mouth, was so tempted just to order another one as well, definitely coming back for this again! 😅 ⭐️: 4/5 💷: ££
- One of the best dimsum places in London you need to try! 🇬🇧 If your looking for authentic dimsum place you need to check out dimsumandduck 🥰 Everything about the food is so fresh and delicious, the portion sizes are really generous! 🥰 Each dish comes out fast and piping hot! Each and every dumpling is filled to the brim, especially the har gau was packed with generous amount of prawns 🦐 and the xiao long bao was one of the biggest ones I’ve seen in London, it was packed full of soup and it was flavourful and the pork filling was so juicy! 🥹 I will have to come back here next time to try the duck 😌 Definitely recommend coming here if you can, but do expect a long queue as it can get quite busy and also the restaurant is pretty small, so would recommend going in before they just open, as I queued up for 2 hours and this was during the weekend 😅 What I ordered: - Prawn and Chive Dumpling 🥟 - Shanghai Pork Dumpling 🐷 - Salted Egg Yolk Bun 🐣 - Prawn Cheung Fun 🍤 - Plain Cheung Fun - Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce 🐔 - Seafood Beancurd Skin Roll - Deep Fried Prawn Dumpling with Salad Cream 📍 Kings Cross 🌟: 4.7/5 💷: ££
- The top London bakery you need to visit! 🇬🇧 If you are on the look out for the best pastries! you definitely need to check out Arome a charming little bakery in the heart of London! from the moment you step inside! You’re hit with the aroma freshly baked goodies 🥰 Their pastries are truly something else 🥹 whether your in the mood just for a croissant they have a great selection of different pastries to choose from! They are all so beautiful, you can never decide which one to have 😅 I chose the Sausage and Cheese croissant and also the Banana and Chocolate croissant ☺️ Each croissant is flaky and buttery and the fillings inside are all have the right amount of sweetness 🤩 You simply have to visit 😊they have another branch by Covent Garden but usually at times it can get busy, so would advise visiting the Bond Street branch also recommend coming in early if you can to avoid any disappointment as the pastries will fly off the quickly😁 📍 Bond Street ⭐️: 4.3/5 💷: £3-6
