![High Falls State Park is only 50 minutes from the city and the perfect escape! 😍The trail is a 1.1 mile loop and so peaceful, especially if you have time to dip your feet in the water.

![Had so much fun in Charlotte at their Around the Crown 10k!! 🏃🏾♀️Going into it I had no idea it was a hilly course so I’m SO THANKFUL I trained on hills because otherwise yesterday would’ve been 10x harder. I set a goal of running at a 11:30 pace and really pushed myself and finished at 10:55 pace!! 🎉🎉 Couldn’t of done this without following my runna plan and using strava to track my progress!! I’m so proud of how far I’ve come and already looking forward to the next one 🙌🏾

1) Sweetwater Creek State Park 🥾
Plenty of spots along the rocks to relax for the day and dip into the water. Lots of shallow areas for kids. $5 parking fee per car
2) Panther Creek Trailhead 🥾
Plan to spend at least half you day here because it’s 8 mile hike round trip and you’re going to want to spend some time swimming. Make sure to bring your swimsuit!
3) High Shoals Falls 🥾
This one is so beautiful and 2.5 miles round trip. I recommend driving a high clearance vehicle to get to the trailhead because there is a creek crossing you car will have to drive through
