•1 cup vanilla protein powder
•1/2 cup vanilla protein shake 
•1/4 cup sugar free maple syrup (or regular) 
optional 
•1/2 tsp cinnamon 
•1/8 cup finely chopped walnuts
•Flaky sea salt - I used osmokitchen (use code 2EXPLOREWELLNESS to save)

INSTRUCTIONS 

•Mix all of your ingredients in a bowl until well combined and creamy.
•Enjoy right away, or store it to thicken in the fridge! 
•Use as a dip, frosting, spread- or even enjoy alone! 

Makes 4 servings

INGREDIENTS 

•1 cup non fat greek yogurt
•1/2 cup pumpkin puree
•1 heaping scoop vanilla protein powder
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
•1/4 cup sugar free chocolate chips 
•1 tsp coconut oil 
•osmo cinnamon bun coffee salt (code 2EXPLOREWELLNESS for discount) 

INSTRUCTIONS 

•Mix the yogurt, pumpkin, protein powder and cinnamon until smooth.
•Place dollops on a parchment lined baking tray and flatten
•Freeze for at least an hour or until hardened
•Melt your chocolate and coconut oil until smooth and drippy, and smooth or drizzle over frozen bites. 
•Top with sea salt and enjoy! ( store leftovers in freezer)

•1/4 cup pumpkin purée 
•1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
•1/2 tsp each of cinnamon, pumpkin spice and vanilla
•1/4 cup low fat vanilla Greek yogurt 

Optional coating 

•1/4 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
•1 tsp stevia or monk fruit 

INSTRUCTIONS 

•Preheat your oven to 350 then your ingredients in a large bowl. Add more powder or yogurt to adjust consistency if needed. (It should be thick enough to hold shape, but thin enough to pipe)
•Pipe 1-2 inches pieces onto a lined baking tray.
•Bake for about 5-6 minutes, then remove, spray with a bit of oil and coat in cinnamon sugar before putting them back in the oven at 400 for 2-4 minutes to crisp up! 

Makes 3 servings

INGREDIENTS 

•1.5 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla) 
•1 scoop legion salted caramel protein powder (code 2XW to save) 
•1/2 scoop legion apple pie powder 
•1/4 diced red apple (or a mini one)
•1 tbsp date syrup (or date pieces) 
•A few pretzel pieces
•1 tbsp sugar free chocolate chips
•1/2 tsp coconut oil

DIRECTIONS

• Mix your yogurt and protein powder before spreading evenly on a parchment lined baking tray.
• Drizzle some date syrup on top 
• Melt your coconut oil and chocolate chips and drizzle on top, then swirl 
• Add your apples, pretzels and some osmokitchen flakey sea salt (code 2EXPLOREWELLNESS) before popping in the freezer for a few hours to solidify ! 

Total protein for the entire batch: 68g

DIRECTIONS

•Mix your yogurt, protein powder and a squeeze of lemon juice. 
•Squeeze the rest of your juice in a shallow bowl wide enough to fit the rice cakes- adding some sweetener of choice (I used truvia liquid stevia)
•Dip one rice cake in the juice and lay it on the serving dish (pour more on top if needed)
•Add half your yogurt filling, followed by another soaked rice cake and more filling on top!

Having a high protein, high fiber breakfast ready in 3 minutes was a life saver after arriving home from traveling! 
When you get back home from a trip the last thing you probably want to do is go grocery shopping or cook.. 
I was so thankful I had protein sheet pancakes prepped (comment RECIPE if you want it!) and some frozen peaches.
I knew there wasn’t going to be any desire for much more- (although I’m honestly craving a Greek yogurt breakfast lol) 
I also stashed some seasoned and prepped chicken, as well as easy veg to tide us over until I went grocery shopping. (My sweet MIL also stocked us with a meal and a few other essentials!) 

Do you freeze any meals before you travel to ensure you have an easy transition back home?

And this wasn’t even the only disappointment 😅 my poor husband had bad leg cramps and was practically limping the whole way, and the late start meant I no longer had the beautiful natural light in the kitchen! (Legit the whole reason I picked this apartment 😂) 

At least the salad and our 6€ wine was good! 

Also, I didn’t realize- but burrata is huge here in Spain and on most of the menus at restaurants!! At the market it was only 2.50€ vs the $9 I pay in the US! And of course super delish.

This have been slower and there’s less sightseeing, and a bit more normalcy. It’s been a very different kind of travel for me, and it will definitely feel sand to leave in a few days!

This is the first time I’ve traveled and taken it slow enough to grab some groceries and make a breakfast at home. Wanted to grab some bread, but forgot to grab some from a bakery. The fresh peach was the perfect pairing though!

Does anyone else feel like staying healthy(ish) on vacation is a full-time job? 😅

It can be such a tricky balance- on one hand, I want to feel good, energized, and keep some routines going. On the other, I’m here to experience the culture, try the food, and not stress about hitting every macro goal.

After almost a month of traveling, I’m craving a kitchen and a little more routine, so I’m glad to have some of that for my last week in Spain- but I wouldn’t trade the memories, food, or an extra lb or two for perfection.

How do you approach healthy habits when you travel? Do they disappear completely, or do you aim for balance?

Past traveling for me hasn’t allowed any slow mornings, but they’ve been one of my favorite things this time around (though still scarce)- especially when the view is this good. 

And the benefits for a slower morning are so rewarding.

	•	A quiet, unhurried start lets your brain wander, which boosts idea-generation and problem-solving- I love editing, brainstorming or going through content in the morning- even while traveling! 

6. More Mindfulness & Presence
	•	Moving slowly allows you to actually notice your morning- sunlight streaming in, the smell of your coffee, the sound of birds, and this mindfulness can even carry through your day! 

7. Energy Management
	•	By easing into your day, you avoid early burnout and conserve energy for when you really need it.
